How to perform zero calibration on Anhui Chunhui pressure transmitter
Date: 2025-06-17Read: 8
conductAnhui Chunhui Pressure TransmitterZero point calibration is an important step in ensuring measurement accuracy. Zero calibration usually refers to adjusting the transmitter output to the correct reference value (such as 4mA or 0V) without applying any pressure (i.e. under atmospheric pressure conditions). The following are the universal zero calibration steps for pressure transmitters:
preparation
Ensure stable environmental conditions: Choose a relatively stable ambient temperature for calibration to avoid errors caused by temperature changes.
Check equipment status: Confirm that the transmitter is installed correctly and without leaks, and all connections are firm and reliable.
Calibration steps
Turn off system pressure: isolate the transmitter from the measured medium to ensure that the transmitter is in a pressure free state (usually atmospheric pressure).
Use a multimeter or calibrator: Connect a multimeter or specialized calibrator to the output terminal of the transmitter to monitor the output signal.
Enter calibration mode:
For some intelligent pressure transmitters, it may be necessary to enter the device's parameter settings or calibration mode through a handheld communicator or other configuration tool.
Follow the manufacturer's instructions to locate and enter the zero calibration function.
Perform zero calibration:
Under no pressure, execute the zero calibration command according to the instructions in the equipment manual. This may involve pressing specific buttons, entering specific codes, or sending instructions through software.
If it is a manually adjusted pressure transmitter, it may be necessary to rotate the zero potentiometer until the output reaches the expected value (e.g. 4mA for 4-20mA output range).
Verify calibration results:
Re apply the known standard pressure source and check if the output of the transmitter meets expectations. If there is a deviation, it may be necessary to repeat the above steps or make further adjustments.
After confirming the zero calibration, verify the accuracy and linearity of the entire range again at different pressure points.
Record maintenance information: After completing calibration, record the calibration date, standards used, calibration results, and other information for future reference and tracking of equipment performance.
Please note that different brands and models of pressure transmitters may have different calibration procedures and requirements, so it is important to carefully read the product manual and follow the manufacturer's specific guidance before actual operation. If you have any questions about a specific model of pressure transmitter, providing more detailed information can provide targeted assistance.
