1. Installation of distribution cabinets: The distribution cabinets should be arranged according to the construction drawings and placed one by one on the foundation steel in sequence.
The adjustment of the verticality of the cabinet surface and side can be solved by adding shims to the individual distribution cabinet, but it cannot exceed three pieces and should be welded firmly.
After each distribution cabinet is in place, the levelness and panel deviation of the cabinet should be adjusted to comply with the construction specifications.
2. Wall mounted distribution boxes can be fixed to the wall using expansion bolts, but for hollow brick or block walls, dovetail bolts should be embedded or split bolts should be used for fixation.
3. The installation of the distribution box should be pre embedded with a cover box, and the panel should be level with the wall after installation.
4. After the adjustment of the distribution cabinet is completed, the cabinet body should be fastened to the foundation steel with bolts.
5. Grounding of distribution cabinet: Each distribution cabinet is separately connected to the foundation steel. Copper wire can be used to reliably connect the PE busbar inside the cabinet to the grounding bolt, and spring washers must be added for anti loosening treatment. Each cabinet door should be reliably connected to the PE busbar with copper braided wire.
6. The top of the distribution cabinet should be connected to the busbar, and attention should be paid to using a busbar matching wrench to tighten it according to requirements. The contact surface should be coated with neutral Vaseline.
When connecting busbars between cabinets, attention should be paid to whether the busbars are too close to other devices or shells, and to ensure correct phase.
7. Control circuit inspection: Check whether the circuit has become loose due to transportation or other factors, and tighten it one by one, and whether the electrical components are damaged.
In principle, the control circuit of the distribution cabinet has been verified before leaving the factory, and the circuit inside the cabinet should not be adjusted without authorization. If any problems are found, the supplier should be contacted.
8. After calibrating the control line, bend each core wire into a circle and connect it to each terminal board with galvanized screws, eye sockets, and spring washers.
On each side of the terminal board, one terminal is usually pressed with one wire, and there should not be more than two wires, and eye circles should be added between the two wires. Multiple strands of wire should be tinned and there should be no broken strands.
Installation and assembly requirements for communication distribution cabinets
1. The distribution cabinet should be made of non combustible materials;
2. Production sites and offices with low risk of electric shock can install open type distribution cabinets;
3. In processing workshops, casting, forging, heat treatment, boiler rooms, woodworking rooms, and other places with high risk of electric shock or poor working environment, enclosed cabinets should be installed;
4. In hazardous workplaces with conductive dust or flammable and explosive gases, enclosed or explosion-proof electrical facilities must be installed;
5. The electrical components, instruments, switches, and circuits of the distribution cabinet should be arranged neatly, installed firmly, and easy to operate;
6. The bottom of the cabinet installed on the ground should be 5-10 mm higher than the ground;
7. The center height of the operating handle is generally 1.2-1.5m;
8. There are no obstacles within a range of 0.8-1.2m in front of the cabinet;
9. Reliable connection of protective wires; There shall be no bare live parts exposed outside the cabinet;
10. Electrical components that must be installed on the outer surface of cabinets or distribution boards must have reliable screen protection.
