Precautions for differential pressure transmitter
Date: 2020-12-16Read: 2

1. Do not apply voltage higher than 36V to the transmitter, as it may cause damage to the transmitter; 2. Do not touch the diaphragm with hard objects, which may cause damage to the isolation diaphragm; 3. The measured medium is not allowed to freeze, otherwise it will damage the isolation diaphragm of the sensor element and cause damage to the transmitter. If necessary, temperature protection should be applied to the transmitter to prevent freezing; When measuring steam or other high-temperature media, the temperature should not exceed the limit temperature of the transmitter during use. If the temperature exceeds the limit temperature of the transmitter, a heat dissipation device must be used; When measuring steam or other high-temperature media, a heat pipe should be used to connect the transmitter and pipeline together, and the pressure on the pipeline should be transmitted to the transformer. When the measured medium is water vapor, an appropriate amount of water should be injected into the heat dissipation pipe to prevent overheated vapor from directly contacting the transmitter and damaging the sensor; During the pressure transmission process, the following points should be noted: a. Do not leak air at the connection between the transmitter and the heat dissipation pipe; b. Before use, if the valve is closed, it should be opened very carefully and slowly to avoid direct impact of the measured medium on the sensor diaphragm, which may damage the sensor diaphragm; c. The pipeline must be kept unobstructed, as sediment in the pipeline may pop out and damage the sensor diaphragm.
