KFF High Temperature Cable: A Reliable Transmission Solution for Harsh Environments
Date: 2025-06-18Read: 9
In high-temperature operation scenarios such as industrial automation, aerospace, and power energy, the temperature resistance of cables directly determines the stability and safety of equipment operation. KFF high-temperature cables, with their innovative material design and process, have become key connecting components in the environment, providing reliable support for the development of modern industry.
1、 Core technological breakthrough: dual guarantee of temperature resistance and corrosion resistance
KFF high-temperature cables use fluoroplastics (such as polytetrafluoroethylene PTFE, soluble polytetrafluoroethylene PFA) as insulation and sheath materials, breaking through the temperature resistance limit of traditional cables. Its insulation layer can withstand sustained high temperatures ranging from 180 ℃ to 260 ℃, with PFA insulation model being more capable of long-term stable operation in an environment of 260 ℃, while the temperature resistance range of fluoroplastic sheath also reaches 200 ℃ -260 ℃. This material characteristic enables cables to maintain stable electrical performance in high-temperature environments such as metallurgical blast furnaces and petroleum refining reaction vessels, effectively preventing the risk of short circuits caused by insulation layer aging.
In terms of chemical corrosion protection, fluoroplastics and silicone rubber sheaths exhibit resistance to acids, alkalis, and oil stains. For example, in the petrochemical industry, cables around distillation towers and reaction vessels need to be exposed to corrosive media containing sulfur and chlorine for a long time. The protective sheath of KFF high-temperature cables can resist such chemical erosion and ensure the continuity of signal transmission. Its mechanical performance is also outstanding, with flexible design allowing the cable to maintain flexible bending in narrow spaces, and tensile strength ensuring that it is not easily broken under complex working conditions.
2、 Application scenario: Full coverage from aerospace to industrial automation
In the aerospace field, KFF high-temperature cables are widely used for electrical connections between aircraft engines and aviation electronic equipment. For example, the fuel control system of domestic aircraft engines uses KFF high-temperature cables, which have temperature resistance performance that can meet the temperature difference environment of -60 ℃ to 260 ℃. At the same time, the shielding layer design effectively resists electromagnetic interference, ensuring the accuracy of flight data transmission.
In the power industry, equipment such as high-temperature furnaces and transformers have strict requirements for the temperature resistance and current carrying capacity of cables. In the upgrade project of blast furnace control system in steel enterprises, KFF high-temperature cables were used instead of traditional heat-resistant cables. After two years of continuous operation in a high temperature environment of 250 ℃, there was no insulation layer aging phenomenon, and the equipment failure rate was reduced by 40%. In addition, its flame retardant properties and high transparency smoke design can save valuable time for personnel evacuation in emergency situations.
3、 Market trend: Technological innovation drives industrial upgrading
With the rapid development of new energy manufacturing and other fields, the demand for KFF high-temperature cables in the market continues to grow. According to data from 2025, the inventory of high-temperature cables in China reached 100000 tons, of which aluminum alloy and copper core high-temperature cables accounted for over 60%, mainly used in new energy facilities such as wind power and photovoltaics. Cable companies further enhance the current carrying capacity and mechanical strength of cables by developing new conductor materials (such as silver plated copper wire) and optimizing structural design.
