Measuring principle

Under the action of fluid flow, a pressure difference is formed at both ends of the instrument inlet and outlet. A pair of elliptical gears rotate continuously on the shaft, and the cavity between the gears is filled with liquid, which is discharged as it rotates. The flow rate of the liquid flowing through the instrument can be determined by measuring the number of revolutions of the elliptical gears. If the volume Q discharged after one revolution of the elliptical gear and the number of rotations of the elliptical gear per unit time is N, then the volume of liquid flowing through during that time is NQ.

structural principle
