Wear resistant thermocouple is a sensor used to measure temperature in high-temperature environments
Date: 2023-07-10Read: 7
Wear resistant thermocouple is a sensor used to measure temperature in high-temperature environments. It is made of one or more metal or alloy materials, which can have good wear resistance and high temperature performance under extreme conditions.
Here are some common types of wear-resistant thermocouples:
1. K-type wear-resistant thermocouple: K-type wear-resistant thermocouple is composed of nickel chromium nickel silicon (NiCr NiSi) alloy and is suitable for high temperature measurement range (about -200 ℃ to+1260 ℃). They have good stability, precision, and antioxidant properties, and are widely used in many industrial applications.

2. N-type wear-resistant thermocouple: The N-type wear-resistant thermocouple is made of nickel chromium molybdenum nickel silicon (NiCrMo NiSi) alloy and can withstand higher operating temperatures (about -200 ℃ to+1300 ℃). N-type friction resistant wire is very suitable for applications such as steam generators.
3. S-type and R-type friction resistant wires: Both S-type and R-type friction resistant wires are made of platinum rhodium alloy and can work at very high operating temperatures (about 0 ℃ to+1600 ℃). They are widely used in fields such as aviation, petrochemicals, and high-temperature furnaces.
Wear resistant thermocouples are mainly used in the following fields:
1. Steel metallurgy industry: Measure the temperature during the steel production process in high temperature and strong acid-base environments.
2. Petrochemical industry: used to monitor high temperature conditions in equipment such as pipelines, storage tanks, and reactors to ensure safe operation.
3. Power industry: used in power plants and thermal power stations to monitor the temperature of equipment such as boilers and turbines.
4. Automotive manufacturing industry: used for temperature detection of automotive exhaust systems, engine cooling systems, and other parts.
5. Glass processing industry: Accurate measurement is carried out when calculating effective export data on the glass kiln explosion control panel.
Different types of friction resistant wires are suitable for working temperatures within different ranges. The key to choosing the correct type of friction resistant wire depends on the required measurement conditions and their additional requirements.
The design of wear-resistant thermocouples enables them to withstand extreme conditions such as high temperature, pressure, and corrosion. They are commonly used in industries such as steel metallurgy, glass manufacturing, chemical processing, and thermal power generation to ensure accurate measurements and protect the safety of equipment.
Wear resistant thermocouple is a specially designed thermocouple used to measure temperature in harsh environments. They are usually made of metal or alloy and have high wear resistance, corrosion resistance, and high temperature performance.
