The FT series turbine flow meters range in size from 3/8 inches to 24 inches and have a high range ratio. Its repeatability can reach ± 0.05% (liquid) and ± 0.1% (gas) within the range, and the response speed is very fast. The high-precision, axial installation design of standard turbine flow meters enables the range of this type of product to reach 0.03 to 50000 gallons per minute (0.11 to 189000 liters per minute) for liquid measurement, 0.09 to 15000 actual cubic feet per minute (2.55 to 4248000 actual liters per minute) for gas measurement, and up to 4000 bar (58000 pounds per square inch) for pressure in some applications. In liquid measurement, linearity can reach ± 0.5% within the rated 10:1 range ratio (with an optimized linearity of ± 0.25% available). The accuracy within the rated range in gas measurement can reach ± 1%. After using linearized electronic devices, all turbine flow meters can achieve a linearity of ± 0.1%. The materials for the casing, wheels, bearings, and shaft of the turbine flowmeter can be selected, including standard stainless steel and special shaped materials for special applications.
