1、 Characteristics of using flame-retardant wires and cables
Anhui Tiankang flame retardant wire and cable products shall comply with all the characteristics specified in the corresponding wire and cable product standards, and shall also meet the following requirements:
1) Flame retardant cables are cables in which the sample is burned under specified test conditions, and after removing the test source, the spread of the flame is only within a limited range. The residual flame or burn can self extinguish within a limited time.
2) Compared with halogenated flame-retardant cables, halogen-free and low smoke flame-retardant cables have the advantages of low corrosion and low smoke;
3) When designing cable laying, non flame retardant cables and flame retardant cables should not be laid in parallel, and flame retardant cables of different flame retardant categories should not be laid in parallel.
4) The classification of flame-retardant wires and cables is based on the non-metallic volume (content) of the bundled combustion samples, and it is stipulated that the combustion carbonization height shall not exceed 2.5 meters for Class A, which is 7 liters per meter; Class B 3.5 liters/meter; Class C 1.5 liters/meter; Class D: 0.5 liters per meter;
5) The classification of flame-retardant wires and cables is based on the toxicity of smoke, smoke density (minimum transmittance)%, and corrosion resistance [pH value, conductivity (μ S/mm)]. The density transmittance of Class I smoke is not less than 80%; The density and transmittance of Grade II smoke shall not be less than 60%; The density and transmittance of Grade III smoke shall not be less than 20%; Grade IV smoke has no density.
IIAnhui TiankangFlame retardant cable storage and operation
1) The cable end should be reliably sealed;
2) Cables should be avoided from being stored outdoors, and cable reels are not allowed to be laid flat;
3) It is strictly prohibited to throw wire reels containing cables from a height, and mechanical damage to cables is strictly prohibited;
4) When hoisting cables, it is strictly prohibited to hoist several reels at the same time; On vehicles, ships, and other transportation vehicles, cable reels must be securely placed and fixed using appropriate methods to prevent collision or overturning.
