HARTMulti functional circleBoard usage instructions

Our company's HART multifunctional circular plate can be used with various sensors, such as capacitive film pressure sensors, diffused silicon pressure sensors, and ceramic capacitive pressure sensors. Integrated high-precision 5-digit digital LCD display with backlight, * following the HART fieldbus protocol. Multi point linear correction and precise digital temperature compensation. The two buttons on the panel not only allow for zero and range migration, but also add parameter setting functions. When there is no communicator on site, the device can still be adjusted. The transmitter manufactured using this circuit board can be linearized using only the HART three-point linearization command and sensor fine-tuning command during user maintenance to meet usage requirements.

7. Wiring method

  • Wiring method of capacitive film box pressure sensor

When using a capacitive film box type pressure sensor, the entire circuit is composed of a HART multifunctional motherboard and a signal conditioning module

Board composition. The sensor output line is connected to the signal conditioning board, which is installed in the reserved cavity of the sensor.

There is already a temperature sensing diode soldered on the small board. If the sensor has a built-in temperature sensing diode and the output line is connected to the temperature sensing diode on the small board

Please remove this diode when the+- poles of the diode are connected. The power input terminal on the motherboard has integrated an LC π - shaped filter, which has been modified

Filters do not need to be installed inside the terminal box of the transmitter. The wiring terminals are shown in Figure (2):

Figure (2)

2)Wiring method of diffusion silicon pressure sensor

When using a diffused silicon pressure sensor, only the HART multifunctional motherboard is used for the entire circuit. Sensor connection

Connect the wire to the corresponding pad J2 on the motherboard according to the sensor output terminal name. Constant current source power supply, JP1 and JP6 are short circuited, and the rest are open circuited. Connect according to J2 instructions. The wiring terminals are shown in Figure (3):

The sensor ground shielding wire is connected to the copper pillar of the motherboard housing. The connection end between the sensor and the motherboard integrates an LC filter, effectively blocking interference signals introduced by the sensor. At the same time, the power input terminal on the motherboard is also integrated with LC π - shaped

Figure (3)

Filter to block interference signals introduced by power lines.

Little tip:When using a gauge pressure sensor to make a 0~- XX Kpa vacuum transmitter, swap the OUT+and OUT - wires and do more

A few linearization points (because the sensor manufacturer only linearizes in the forward direction, the linearization is poor in the reverse direction, but more linearization points can be achieved)

To meet the requirements of high precision.

3)Wiring method of ceramic capacitive pressure sensor

When using ceramic capacitive pressure sensors, only the HART multifunctional motherboard is used for the entire circuit. JP1 and JP5 are short circuited. If a high constant voltage is required, they can be directly connected to a 3V constant voltage. The rest are open. Connect the wiring according to J2 instructions, short-circuit the OUT - and IN - on the motherboard, and connect the COM (IN -) lead of the sensor.

2、 Communication connection method

This product * follows the HART communication specification and communicates with on-site devices through upper computer communication software and handheld communicator. The upper computer software supports WIN9X/ME, WIN2000, XP, and supports USB-RS232 converters; When using the upper computer software, it is necessary to use HARTMODEM. The handheld communicator uses two No. 5 high-energy alkaline batteries and can work continuously3More than ten days (when there is no LCD backlight). The specific wiring is shown in the following figure, including HART_MODEMThe two signal terminals of the handheld communicator can also be connected to both ends of a 250 Ω resistor.

  • Installation and use of upper computer software

3-1. Software Installation

Open the software package and run SETUP within it.EXEThe software will automatically install to:\\\\Programe\\Hart3351\\Hart3351under the directoryDuring the installation process, if prompted to enter the serial number, please enter any number. After installation, run H in the above directoryart3351.exeJust follow the prompts to apply for a running password. This software supports USB to RS232 converters on WIN9X/ME, WIN2000, and laptops. When the software needs to be upgraded for other reasons, simply update the new version of Hart3351.exeCovering the original Hart3351.exeJust enough.

3-2. Serial port settings

If the device is connected normally, the commonly used buttons in the interface will change from gray to black and the corresponding parameter values will appear. Otherwise, it will indicate "Instrument not responding!", as shown in Figure (7).Note: In future software versions, the interface may differ, but the functionality and usage methods will remain the same.

When the message 'Instrument not responding!' appears, please check if the instrument wiring is normal and if the circuit current is normal. If the above situation is normal, press the "Cancel" button to close the dialog box as shown in Figure (7), and then click the "Short Frame Address" button to open the dialog box(Click the "Short Frame Address Search" button in Figure 8), and the program will automatically search for on-site devices with short frame addresses ranging from 0 to 15. After searching, click the "Return" button. When this software starts running, it uses the default short frame address 0. If the short frame address of the on-site device is not 0, please follow the above steps.

Due to the lack of RS232 port on the laptop, a USB to RS232 converter needs to be purchased separately. After connecting the converter, please install the driver program on the CD that comes with the converter, and then find the serial port number of the converter. The search method is briefly described as follows: right-click on the desktop“My Computer”Icon, click in the menu“attribute”In the appearance“System Properties”Select in the settings dialog box“Equipment Management”Tabs (for WIN2000)“Hardware Device Manager”Double click on the installed converter device in the dialog box that appears, and then search for the device used in the dialog box that appearscom口。Run Hart3351.exeAfter the file, click on the corresponding serial port number in the "Serial Port Selection" selection box.
