Hot plug electromagnetic flowmeter is an electromagnetic flow measurement device designed for installation and maintenance of pipelines without shutdown. It inherits the measurement principle of traditional electromagnetic flowmeters and has a unique structural design that can be installed or removed when the pipeline medium continues to flow, greatly improving the flexibility and convenience of flow measurement in industrial processes. 1、 The core function of high-precision flow measurement is based on the principle of electromagnetic induction (Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction). By measuring the induced electromotive force generated when a conductive medium flows in a magnetic field, the volumetric flow rate of the medium is calculated. Suitable for conductive liquids (conductivity ≥ 5 μ S/cm), such as sewage, acid-base solutions, tap water, etc., the measurement accuracy can usually reach ± 0.5%~± 1.0%. Hot plug operation is its core feature. By using specialized sealing structures and installation tools, sensors can be installed, disassembled, or replaced under pressure and medium flow in pipelines (without the need to stop the pump or close the valve), avoiding production interruptions caused by maintenance of traditional flow meters, especially suitable for continuous operation industrial scenarios (such as chemical, water treatment, metallurgy, etc.). Real time monitoring and data output have the function of displaying parameters such as flow rate, cumulative flow rate, and flow velocity in real time, supporting multiple signal outputs (such as 4-20mA analog, RS485 digital communication, pulse signals, etc.), and can be connected to PLC, DCS system or upper computer to achieve remote monitoring and data recording. Anti interference and adaptive performance effectively resist pipeline vibration and electromagnetic interference (such as the influence of equipment such as motors and frequency converters); Sensors are mostly made of corrosion-resistant materials (such as 316L stainless steel, PTFE lining), which can adapt to media environments with different pH values, temperatures (usually -20 ℃~180 ℃), and pressures (up to 16MPa). 2、 Main application scenario 1: Municipal and industrial water treatment in sewage treatment plants: measuring inflow, outflow, sludge reflux and other flow rates, supporting online maintenance to avoid affecting the sewage treatment process due to shutdown maintenance. Waterworks: Monitor the flow of raw water and clean water pipelines to ensure stable water supply. 2. The flow measurement of corrosive media such as acids, bases, solvents, and slurries is used in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. The hot swappable function can reduce production line downtime losses caused by maintenance, while meeting hygiene requirements (some models support food grade lining). 3. Monitoring the flow rate of cooling water and circulating water in metallurgy and electric power metallurgy processes, ensuring stable operation even in high temperature and high pressure environments; Flow measurement of power plant boiler makeup water, condensate water and other pipelines, supporting non-stop maintenance. 4. In large-scale agricultural irrigation systems, measuring irrigation water flow and hot swappable design facilitate equipment maintenance during the irrigation season without affecting irrigation progress. 5. Environmental monitoring is used to monitor the discharge flow of industrial wastewater online, and the data can be uploaded to the environmental protection department in real time to meet the requirements of pollutant discharge supervision.
