Application principle and technology of bimetallic thermometer products
Comparison between bimetallic thermometers and similar domestic products: ① The instrument accuracy level reaches 1.0 level, and the upper shell of the instrument is made of anti-corrosion materials, with a temperature resistance of up to 200 ℃ and a minimum of -40 ℃.
② The flange structure and double-layer sealing rubber ring have good anti-corrosion and waterproof performance.
③ The welding of the protective tube adopts fully automatic argon gas protective tube, with a firm weld and minimal intergranular corrosion.
④ The scale plate is an aluminum oxide printing plate with a clear and aesthetically pleasing surface.
⑤ The pointer is internally adjustable.
In addition, the length of the probe of the bimetallic thermometer can be customized according to customer needs. The thermometer has the characteristics of waterproof, corrosion-resistant, explosion-proof, vibration resistant, intuitive, easy to read, mercury free, sturdy and durable in terms of design principles and structure. It can replace other measuring instruments and is widely used in industries and scientific research departments such as petroleum, chemical, machinery, shipbuilding, power generation, textile, printing and dyeing.

Precautions for using bimetallic thermometers
A bimetallic thermometer is an on-site detection instrument used to measure low to medium temperatures. Bimetallic thermometers can directly measure the temperature of liquid, vapor, and gas media within the range of -80 ℃ to+500 ℃ in various production processes.
The main component of industrial bimetallic thermometers is a multi-layer metal sheet composed of two or more metal sheets stacked together. To improve temperature sensitivity, metal sheets are usually made into a spiral coil shape. When the temperature of multi-layer metal sheets changes, the expansion or contraction of each layer of metal is uneven, causing the spiral coil to roll up or loosen. Due to one end of the spiral coil being fixed and the other end being connected to a freely rotatable pointer, when the bimetallic strip senses a temperature change, the pointer can indicate the temperature on a circular scale. The temperature measurement range of this instrument is usually 200~600 ℃, with an allowable error of about 1% of the scale scale. The use of bimetallic thermometers and rod-shaped glass liquid thermometers is similar, but they can be used under conditions that require higher mechanical strength. And it has the characteristics of waterproof, corrosion-resistant, vibration resistant, intuitive, easy to read, mercury free, sturdy and durable. It can replace many other forms of temperature measuring instruments and is widely used in industries and scientific research departments such as petroleum, chemical, machinery, shipbuilding, power generation, textile, printing and dyeing. In practical applications, protective pipes include 1Cr18Ni9Ti stainless steel and molybdenum titanium, which have strong pressure bearing and anti-corrosion capabilities. The dial structure forms include axial type, radial type, 135 degree type, universal type, etc., which are suitable for various on-site installation needs. During use, the following points should be noted:
A、 The length of the bimetallic thermometer protection tube immersed in the measured medium must be greater than the length of the temperature sensing element. Generally, the immersion length is greater than 100mm, and the immersion length for the 0-50 ℃ range is greater than 150mm to ensure measurement accuracy.
B、 Various bimetallic thermometers are not suitable for measuring the temperature of media in open containers, and live contact thermometers are not suitable for use in control circuits with high working vibration.
C、 During the storage, installation, and transportation of bimetallic thermometers, collision with the protective tube should be avoided, and the protective tube should not be bent or deformed, and the thermometer should not be used as a wrench.
D、 The thermometer should be regularly inspected under normal use. It is generally recommended to do so every six months. Electric contact thermometers are not allowed to operate under strong vibrations to avoid affecting the reliability of the contacts.
