Intelligent Future, AI Empowering New Ecology - Laboratory Digitalization Forum and 2025 Yigu Forum held in Beijing

On September 11, 2025, the Laboratory Intelligence Forum and 2025 Yigu Forum were held at the China International Exhibition Center (Shunyi Hall) in Beijing. This forum is hosted by the China Association for Analysis and Testing, organized by the Testing Equipment Branch of the China Inspection and Testing Society, the Information and Intelligence Working Committee of the China Inspection and Testing Society, the Laboratory Instrument and Equipment Branch of the China Entry Exit Inspection and Quarantine Association, and the Beijing Yigu Testing Science Research Institute. It is supported by the China Association for Science and Technology Workers' Home, Instrument Information Network, Food Partner Network, Kouxiang Academic, and AEIC Academic Exchange Center. However, due to its large amount of data information, digitization is facing new challenges. It involves the evaluation of chromatography-mass spectrometry information databases, pre-processing of big data information in spectra, prediction of retention time, compound classification, prediction of unknown substance content, and various algorithms such as retention time and mass axis offset calibration, recovery rate calibration, etc. It is urgent to clarify their digital requirements and research related algorithm models.

Report Title: Preliminary Exploration on the Construction of Food Safety Testing Automation Laboratory

Automated laboratories are the development direction of modern laboratories. The Haike Center has designed an intelligent food sample physical and chemical pretreatment workstation system with the research and development goals of multiple varieties, small batches, and multiple standard technology requirements. This system explores the development direction of laboratory intelligence and is an exploratory solution that applies various new production tools such as the Internet of Things and artificial intelligence to liberate and develop new quality productivity, fill the gaps in food safety testing automation, and comprehensively upgrade and resolve risks in traditional testing laboratories. Liu Xin elaborated on this automated pre-processing system and discussed the problems and challenges encountered in building automated and intelligent laboratories.

Title of the report: "Ultra high speed and high fidelity mesoscopic live microscopy technology and applications"

Light field imaging, as a new imaging perception method that combines optical acquisition and computational reconstruction, has expanded the technological approach for human observation of the physical world with its excellent high-dimensional imaging capabilities. With the increasing demand for information acquisition in scientific observations, traditional light field reconstruction methods have reached a bottleneck in terms of reconstruction quality and speed. In response to these issues, Lu Zhi focused on exploring physics driven high-resolution perception and reconstruction methods for light fields, breaking through the heavy reliance of traditional deep learning methods on paired data and achieving self supervised high-resolution 3D reconstruction.

Cao Zhen systematically introduced the application points of AI intelligent rapid detection technology in his sharing, deeply analyzed the core advantages of this technology in improving detection efficiency and accuracy, and provided a practical and feasible implementation path for intelligent supervision.

Title of the report: "Analysis of the Infection Mechanism of Vegetable Frost Fungus Bacteria Empowered by AI"

This study is based on multi-source data collection and cross scale, multimodal information fusion technology, using artificial intelligence to achieve qualitative characterization of the infection structure, quantitative extraction of morphological characteristics, quantitative evaluation of infection degree, and in-depth analysis of the pathogenic mechanism of vegetable downy mildew. The focus includes establishing a machine vision and plant pathology based infection structure morphology detection and behavior analysis model, systematically exploring the quantitative methods of pathogen morphology and behavior characteristics during the infection process, revealing their dynamic evolution laws, and thus deeply analyzing the infection and pathogenic mechanisms of Aspergillus oryzae.

Report Title: "Construction and Application Demonstration of Open Internet Smart Laboratory Based on Instrument Data Standardization"

Today, as the scientific instrument industry accelerates towards automation, digitization, and intelligence, "digitalization" is becoming the core engine driving industrial upgrading. Puxi is committed to achieving deep integration between traditional analytical instruments and laboratory digital platforms with the direction of "intelligent manufacturing upgrade". For a long time, the digital transformation of laboratories has faced bottlenecks in data interconnection and interoperability. Due to inconsistent interfaces and protocols, it has led to difficulties in coordinating devices of different brands and eras, which restricts the release of data value. In response to this pain point, Puxi has independently developed a standardized digital intelligence platform - DLabs system, which has achieved multiple benefits such as significantly improving laboratory efficiency, significantly reducing error rates, shortening training cycles, and automatic generation of management reports. At present, DLabs has been successfully applied in various fields such as food, environment, medicine, and new materials, serving multiple top research institutions.
