1. After opening the packaging, check whether the muffle furnace is intact and whether the accessories are complete. A typical muffle furnace does not require special installation and only needs to be placed flat on a flat floor or shelf indoors. The controller should avoid vibration and should not be placed too close to the electric furnace to prevent internal components from malfunctioning due to overheating. 2. A thermocouple is inserted into the furnace for 20-50mm, and the gap between the hole and the thermocouple is filled with asbestos rope. It is best to use compensating wires (or insulated steel core wires) to connect the thermocouple to the control, paying attention to the positive and negative poles and not connecting them in reverse. 3. An additional power switch needs to be installed at the power cord entry point to control the main power supply. To ensure safe operation, the electric furnace and controller must be reliably grounded. 4. Before use, adjust the thermometer indicator to zero. When using compensation wires and cold end compensators, adjust the mechanical zero point to the reference temperature point of the cold end compensator. When not using compensation wires, adjust the mechanical zero point to the zero scale, but the indicated temperature is the temperature difference between the measuring point and the cold end of the thermocouple. 5. After confirming the wiring is correct, cover the controller casing. Adjust the setting pointer of the temperature indicator to the desired operating temperature, and then turn on the power. Turn on the power switch, the green light on the temperature indicator will light up, the relay will start working, the electric furnace will be powered on, and the ammeter will display the current. As the internal temperature of the electric furnace increases, the temperature indicator pointer also gradually rises, indicating that the system is working properly. The temperature rise and constant temperature of the electric furnace are indicated by the red and green lights of the temperature indicator (see figure below), where the green light indicates temperature rise and the red light indicates constant temperature.
