Common faults and countermeasures of constant temperature gas bath oscillator
Date: 2020-05-19Read: 4

The constant temperature gas bath oscillator is a biochemical instrument that combines a temperature controlled constant temperature incubator and an oscillator. It is mainly used in various scientific research departments such as universities, medical institutions, petrochemicals, health and epidemic prevention, and environmental monitoring for the oscillation cultivation of various liquid and solid compounds such as biology, biochemistry, cells, and bacterial strains.

During use, the constant temperature gas bath oscillator may experience some malfunctions. Here are some repair suggestions:

Common faults and countermeasures of constant temperature gas bath oscillator

1、 Oscillator malfunction:

1. Insufficient amplitude: It may be due to unstable power supply voltage, asymmetric waveform of oscillator diaphragm, foreign objects stuck in inlet and outlet pipelines, insufficient compressed air flow in pipelines, or transmission mechanism failure. At this point, the cause of the malfunction should be eliminated, and the parameters of the oscillator, such as amplitude, frequency, etc., should be adjusted according to the specific situation.

2. The oscillator is not working: it may be due to poor power contact, damaged oscillator switch, or transmission mechanism failure. At this point, the power connection should be checked first and reconnected; Check if the oscillator switch is normal, and replace it if it is damaged; If other faults cannot be resolved, you can contact the manufacturer for repair.

3. Excessive noise or vibration interference: It may be due to aging of the oscillator diaphragm, weak oscillator bracket, transmission mechanism failure, or pipeline deviation. At this point, the position of the pipeline should be adjusted first to maintain balance; Check if there is any malfunction in the transmission mechanism, and if so, repair or replace it.

2、 Temperature controller malfunction:

1. Unstable temperature: It may be due to sensor malfunction, instrument damage, or external environmental temperature effects. At this point, it is necessary to check whether the instrument is placed in a location that is easily affected by the external environment, such as next to windows, around electronic devices, etc; Check the normal working condition of the sensor. If replacement of the sensor is required, choose the same specifications and model as the original sensor; Check if the instrument is normal, and on the premise of ensuring that the sensor is problem free, replace the instrument to try to restore normal operation.

2. High or low temperature: It may be due to heating element failure, unstable control algorithm, or open circuit in the temperature control circuit. At this point, it is necessary to check whether the heating element, control algorithm, and temperature control circuit are normal, and carry out corresponding maintenance or replacement.

Maintenance suggestions for constant temperature gas bath oscillator

1. Cleaning: Regularly clean the outer shell and internal components of the constant temperature air bath oscillator to keep the equipment clean and tidy. You can use a clean damp cloth to wipe the outer shell and internal components of the equipment, but be careful not to use corrosive cleaning agents.

2. Check the power supply: Regularly check if the power cord is securely connected and if the power plug is loose or damaged. If any problems are found, please repair or replace the power cord in a timely manner.

3. Check the water level: Water needs to be added during use, so it is necessary to regularly check if the water level is sufficient. If the water level is too low, an appropriate amount of water needs to be added. Meanwhile, it is necessary to regularly replace the water to maintain its cleanliness and transparency.

4. Component replacement: Regularly inspect and replace sealing rings, filters, and other components according to the instructions to ensure the normal operation of the equipment.

5. Record maintenance records: After each maintenance and upkeep, the content and time of the maintenance should be recorded to facilitate tracking and management of the equipment's operating status.
