This article mainly explains,
rotameterHow is the variable area glass tube carved? As a manufacturer of flow and liquid level measurement equipment, we would like to demonstrate how the laser engraving process for variable area flow meter glass tubes is accomplished
Let's start with the scale to be carved. They are designed on a computer, and the operator can verify whether the scale corresponds to the flow rate of the calibrated tube. Manually marked the initial point on the pipe as a reference for positioning computer design. We select the starting point in the computer to adjust the scale very well and start the programming carving process. The carving process of glass tubes depends on the size of the glass tube and the proportion to be carved. In smaller test tubes, it can last from a few seconds to a few minutes.
After the carving is completed, apply inorganic coating to the carved scales, and then place them in a high-temperature furnace to allow the coating to penetrate the holes in the glass and fix them. The high-temperature furnace gradually increases the temperature until it reaches 530 º C. The duration of this process is the same for all tube sizes. It takes about 4 hours between the heating and cooling processes.
