  Metal tube rotor flowmeterThe phenomenon of inability to adjust flow may be caused by various reasons. The following are several possible reasons for this phenomenon and corresponding solutions:
  
1. Installation does not meet the requirements: The metal rotor flowmeter needs to maintain a certain installation angle. The inclination angle for vertical installation cannot exceed 20 degrees, and for horizontal installation, it needs to be kept horizontal, with the same inclination angle not exceeding 20 degrees. There should be no ferromagnetic objects within 100mm around the installation location, and it should be kept away from variable diameter ports, pump ports, process pipeline bends, etc., and maintain a straight pipe section of 50mm from the front 5D to the back. If not installed as required, it may affect the normal operation of the flowmeter.
  
2. Changes in medium state: If there are significant changes in the density, temperature, and pressure of the medium, it may cause the actual flow rate to be inconsistent with the indicated value. For gas media, it is recommended to use temperature and pressure compensation to obtain the true flow rate.
  
3. Internal contamination of instruments: The attachment of scale or other dirty foreign matter layers inside the float and conical tube can affect the accuracy of flow measurement, and regular cleaning is a necessary maintenance measure.

4. Loose or damaged components: Long term use and pipeline vibration may cause the moving parts of the flowmeter, such as sensor magnets, pointers, counterweights, to loosen, resulting in errors. In this case, professional personnel may need to make adjustments or return to the manufacturer for calibration.
  
5. Fluid pulsation or pressure change: If the fluid pulsation or gas pressure changes sharply, it may cause fluctuations in the indicated value. The solution includes installing buffer tanks or using instruments with damping mechanisms.
  
6. Instrument blockage: If there are bubbles, droplets, or other impurities in the fluid, it may cause delay or stuttering in the flow meter's indication. Removing bubbles or droplets, as well as removing foreign objects, are key steps in solving the problem.
  
7. Decreased magnetic coupling performance of the instrument: If the magnetic coupling of the magnet decreases, it can also cause the pointer to move and become sluggish. This may require replacing new parts or magnetizing.
  
In general, when the metal tube rotor flowmeter cannot adjust the flow rate, users can first check the possible problems themselves and make corresponding solutions. If the problem still cannot be solved, it is recommended to contact professional technicians for maintenance or directly return to the factory for repair.
