Assembly sequence of gear coupling

1. Cleaning

Clean the inner cylinder, outer cylinder, and other components.

2. Insert O-ring

Insert the O-ring into the sealing groove of the outer cylinder.

3. Insert the inner and outer cylinders into the shaft

Firstly, insert the outer cylinder into the shaft, then check the orientation of the inner cylinder and install it onto the shaft.

Be particularly careful not to damage the O-ring at this time.

4. Insert the key

The chamfered part of the key may leak oil, so please apply sufficient key sealant before inserting the key.

5. Equipment installation will

Drive and driven equipment are installed in position.

6. The method of using a dial gauge is shown in the figure. Adjust the shaft on the fixed side of the dial indicator as described in section 1.

The smaller the center runout, the longer the service life of the gear coupling, so it is necessary to accurately align it.

7. Assembly of outer cylinder

Tighten the flanges (or solid flanges) of outer cylinder A and B with a reamer bolt. At this point, be particularly careful to insert the O-ring into the flange surface.

8. Inject lubricating oil

Inject a specified amount of lubricating oil or grease from the oil inlet. Especially when adding lubricating grease, sufficient lubricating grease should be applied to the tooth surfaces of the inner and outer cylinders. After assembly, lubricate from the filling port to the specified amount.
