Introduction: Recently, at the QC group achievement release held by Chongqing Quality Association, the QC group of Four Union Measurement and Control Company won the second prize in the city's QC group achievement selection for the topic of "reducing the return rate of micro differential sensors". In the past, Four Link Measurement and Control Company had a return rate of 4.5% for micro differential pressure sensors sold to its customer Honeywell, while the highest return rate for other series of products was only 0.7%.

Recently, at the QC group achievement release held by Chongqing Quality Association, the QC group of Four Union Measurement and Control Company won the second prize in the QC group achievement selection with the theme of "reducing the return rate of micro differential sensors" after competing with more than 200 participating companies in Chongqing.

In the past, Four Link Measurement and Control Company had a return rate of 4.5% for micro differential pressure sensors sold to its customer Honeywell, while the highest return rate for other series of products was only 0.7%. In order to improve quality and reduce return rates, members of the QC team at Four Union Measurement and Control Company conducted group activities to address this issue. Based on the manufacturing process of micro differential pressure sensors, they analyzed the problem of high return rates for this series of products through current situation investigation, target setting, cause analysis, cause confirmation, implementation of countermeasures, and consolidation measures. Zui later found that "deformation caused by squeezing the membrane during operation", "unreasonable wiping method of the membrane", and "unreasonable welding sequence between the sensor and the membrane" are the main factors affecting product quality and the main reasons for the high return rate. After identifying the root cause, the return rate of micro differential pressure sensors decreased from 4.5% in 2012 to 0.45% in the first half of this year by improving the process and providing training to operators. The solution to this problem has played a driving role in improving customer satisfaction and reducing production costs.
