Explanation of the Basic Principles and Operating Methods of Electronic Level Gauge

Zero adjustment, the function of 1/2 adjustment

Because the spirit level is highly sensitive to the center of gravity of the Earth, the following method can be used to find the 'horizontal zero point'.

The inclination angle of the horizontal plane is θ. Place a suspended plate on this slope. The extension line from the inclined plane to the right angle is only perpendicular to the A side of the board by θ. Rotate the board 180 ° to the right angle extension line and the B-side of the board with only a θ hanging inclination angle. Therefore, even without an absolute benchmark (the extension line of a slope and a right angle), a 180 ° reversal angle can yield 2x θ. Half of 2x θ is θ, and the horizontal plane can also be obtained. That's why, after obtaining the level, the slope is assumed to be 0 When reversing the 180 ° level, it displays twice the actual inclination. Take half of the displayed value as the tilt angle, and adjust the slope (measured object) until the tilt value is displayed as 0, which is the horizontal point. On the contrary, if it is a measuring tool with a reference, the reference may deviate due to external forces, resulting in measurements being taken under the wrong reference,

0-point setting

The level gauge does not have a horizontal zero point. The initial value of 0 when entering the power supply may not necessarily be a horizontal 0 point. When measuring the zero point of the level, it is necessary to set the zero point every time the power is turned on. Only in this way, every measurement with the correctly adjusted zero point benchmark will not result in errors due to zero point errors. To set the zero point, zeroing adjustment and 1/2 adjustment are required. If the zero adjustment knob cannot be used to reset to zero correctly, it is because the inclination of the reference plane exceeds the adjustment range. Please adjust the inclination of the reference plane to the zero range

A) When comparing inclined surfaces for measurement

① Place it on an inclined surface with a level as the reference. ② After stabilization, adjust to 0 and set the display value to 0. The above note refers to the use of a 0-point setting.

B) In the case of a horizontally adjusted plane, place the spirit level on the adjusted plane. ② It means 0 after stabilization, and it means 0.

The above is a horizontal zero point setting.

C) When unable to determine if the plane is horizontal

① Place the level on a flat surface.

② After the displayed value stabilizes, adjust it to zero and set the displayed value to 0.

③ Invert the level by 180 ° and place it in the same position.

④ After the displayed value stabilizes, make a 1/2 adjustment and switch the value to 1/2. The above is a horizontal zero point setting.

The current value represents the inclination of the plane on which this level is placed. When the axis direction (perpendicular to the measuring axis) is tilted, there may be errors. To set the horizontal zero point more accurately, please adjust the horizontal direction of the X and Y axes.
