Hongrun Company participates in the formulation of international standards
Showcasing the Strength of Hongrun Technology

Recently, Chen Zhiyang, Deputy Director of Technology at Fujian Shunchang Hongrun Precision Instrument Co., Ltd. and Vice Chairman of the National Technical Committee for Industrial Process Measurement Automation (TC124/SC8), received another important invitation from the Korean Institute of Science and Technology (KIST) after being invited by the German Standardization Society to participate in international standard development in Berlin in 2024. He accompanied the Chinese delegation to Rongzhou, South Korea to participate in international standard development work and worked together with standardization experts from multiple countries around the world to promote the drafting process of relevant international standards.

It is understood that the international standard setting work participated in this time is an important part of the international standardization meetings of ISO/TC123 sub technical committees and the ISO/TC 123 plenary session organized by the Korean Technical Standards Agency in Rongzhou. The conference focused on the field of sliding bearings, with a focus on discussing dozens of international standard projects such as "Friction Characteristics Testing of Sliding Bearing Materials Part 1: Bearing Metal Material Testing". It attracted standardization experts from multiple countries including China, Japan, Germany, France, the United Kingdom, Austria, and India to participate.

As the domestic counterpart of ISO/TC123 and its subordinate technical committees, China Machinery Productivity Promotion Center Co., Ltd. has continuously represented China in international standardization conferences for sliding bearings in recent years. It has put forward opinions and suggestions that are in line with the interests of China's industry to maintain domestic industrial development, and actively promoted the upgrading of Chinese standards to international standards. At this meeting, the Secretariat of the National Sliding Bearing Standards Committee will also propose two new international standards on behalf of China, striving to enter the NP voting stage. At the same time, they will discuss five standards, including ISO 12132 "Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) for Quality Assurance Design Stage of Thin walled Bearing Bearings", which China is responsible for revising. This is of great significance for enhancing the depth and breadth of China's participation in international standard formulation.
As a representative of China's instrumentation industry, Hongrun Company was invited to attend the conference, which not only demonstrates the company's technological strength, but also highlights the increasing participation of relevant Chinese enterprises in the international standardization system.

Through innovative interface chemistry design, composite materials with excellent thermal management capabilities and high-efficiency neutron shielding properties have been manufactured, which are widely used in aerospace, nuclear medicine and other fields.

Hongrun Company has achieved fruitful results in the field of standard setting, having presided over or participated in 92 national standards, among which 10 were first drafted: 5 intelligent manufacturing standards, 4 display control instrument standards, and 1 standard (participated in 19 standards, 2 aerospace standards, and 7 international standards). Regarding this, the relevant person in charge of Hongrun Company stated that this in-depth participation in the international standardization conference is a key opportunity for the enterprise to integrate into the international standard system. In the future, the company will continue to deepen its core technology research and development in the field of instrumentation and related areas, actively participate in domestic and international standardization work based on its own technological accumulation, and help more Chinese standards and experiences be transformed into international standards, injecting strong impetus into enhancing China's voice in the global industrial chain and promoting the international development of the instrumentation industry.
