Recently, the ship engine manufacturing workshop of Wuxi branch of China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation 703 Research Institute reported to Hongrun customer service that its temperature monitoring system has experienced significant fluctuations in output, and hopes that Hongrun can fully assist in resolving the issue.

HongrunThe intelligent customer service system quickly displayed that the workshop control system mainly consists of imported equipment, including Siemens PLC, intermediate relays, and Yokogawa paperless recorders, with only the sound and light alarm and temperature transmitter using the Hongrun brand. This indicates that users have a high level of trust in the reliability of Hongrun products.

Customer needs are commands. Engineers from Hongrun rushed to Wuxi for on-site inspection and preliminarily determined that the fluctuation was caused by strong electromagnetic interference generated during engine operation, which was transmitted to the temperature transmitter through sensors. Then, through professional equipment testing, it was confirmed that there was indeed electromagnetic interference signal at the sensor end. Due to the measurement point being located on the transformer wire package, it is difficult to disassemble the thermal resistor. The user hopes that Hongrun can solve the problem by improving the equipment's anti-interference ability.

Hongrun engineers have taken multiple filtering and anti-interference measures on site, and although the fluctuation amplitude has been reduced, it still does not meet the user's expectations. After comprehensive evaluation, it is determined that the temperature transmitter needs to undergo circuit board level modification in order to fundamentally suppress interference. The user also recognizes this technical solution and hopes to expedite the board modification work to avoid affecting project acceptance.

The research and development of circuit board pole transformation is immediately underway in Hongrun Laboratory. During this period, users attempted to temporarily replace Hongrun devices with Yokogawa display tables, but significant fluctuations also occurred, further confirming the complexity of the interference environment.

After the prototype of the modified board was completed, Hongrun engineers went to the site again for replacement. The modified Hongrun temperature transmitter performs excellently, stabilizing the measurement fluctuation from the original 10 degrees Celsius to within 0.2 degrees Celsius, meeting user needs. The customer is very satisfied with the final result and highly recognizes the technical response and problem-solving ability of Hongrun customer service, laying a solid foundation for continued cooperation between the two parties.
