Founded in 1992, it was established to adapt to the development of the market economy, promote the implementation of metrology laws, help enterprises strengthen their metrological foundation work, improve the quality of measuring instrument products, and implement industry self-discipline in the construction of the calibration and testing market. It was jointly founded by management and scientific personnel from enterprises, institutions, government metrological administrative departments, and metrological work lines. The competent department is Guangdong Province. Over the past decade, with the deepening of reform and opening up and the maturity of the market economy, our association, with the support and guidance of the competent authorities, has established an independent non-profit service organization to meet the needs of the market economy. We wholeheartedly serve our members and provide the necessary services for society and the government.

The implementation of metrology and the development of metrology technology are important foundations for the economic development and social civilization of countries and regions.
