High voltage clamp type ammeterIt is an instrument used to measure the current of a running electrical circuit, which can measure the current without interruption.
High voltage clamp type ammeterStructure and principle:
A clamp gauge is essentially composed of a current transformer, a clamp wrench, and a rectifying magneto electric system reactive force instrument.
High voltage clamp type ammeterInstructions:
1. Mechanical zeroing is required before measurement
2. Choose the appropriate range, first choose the large range, then choose the small range or estimate based on the nameplate value.
3. When using the maximum small range measurement and the reading is not yet clear, the measured wire can be wound a few times. The number of turns should be based on the number of turns of the clamp *, and the reading=indicated value x range/full offset x turns.
4. When measuring, the measured wire should be placed in the * of the clamp and the clamp should be tightly closed to reduce errors.
5. After the measurement is completed, the conversion switch should be placed at the maximum range.
Application of high-voltage clamp ammeter:
The high-voltage clamp ammeter is connected to an insulation rod and can be used for current measurement of high-voltage lines below 23KV, online current measurement. It also has functions such as peak holding, data holding, data storage, and wireless transmission. The clamp ammeter can easily clamp or withdraw the measured wire by pressing or pulling out the insulation rod, saving time and speed. At present, high and low voltage clamp ammeters have been widely used in substations, power plants, industrial and mining enterprises, as well as testing stations and electrical maintenance departments for current detection and field electrical operations. Insulated rods are lightweight, with characteristics such as moisture resistance, impact resistance, bending resistance, high temperature resistance, high insulation, and stretchability.
