1. The properties of current clamps

The two current clamps of each instrument are connected to this instrument and cannot be switched to another instrument for use. The current clamp must be strictly guarded against falling and collision, and the clamp surface must be kept smooth for reliable closed testing.

2. Maintenance of Current Clamp

After using the current clamp, the dust on the clamp surface should be removed in a timely manner. The clamp surface should not be cleaned with rough or corrosive materials, and should be gently wiped with a soft cloth and lubricant (such as WD-40 lubricant).

3. Before measurement, it should be preheated for 3-5 minutes to ensure measurement accuracy.

4. This instrument is used for secondary and low-voltage circuit detection, and cannot be used to measure current in high-voltage lines to prevent electric shock.

How to replace the battery of a dual clamp phase voltmeter:

1. When the voltage of the instrument power supply is lower than 7.2V, the battery symbol is displayed, indicating that the battery is low. Please replace the battery in a timely manner, as shown in the following figure.

2. Press the OFF button to shut down.

3. Loosen one screw on the battery cover with a Phillips screwdriver and open the battery cover.

4. Remove the old battery and replace it with a new one, please pay attention to the polarity of the battery.

5. Cover the battery cover and tighten the screws.

6. Press the ON button to turn on the device and confirm if the battery has been successfully replaced. Otherwise, repeat the operation from step 2.

7. Please remove the battery if the instrument is not used for a long time.
