Instrument installation
1. Overall dimensions of the instrumentThe probe size may vary depending on the instrument range, and any differences will be notified in advance

2. Instrument wiring
Integrated instrument wiring method: (as shown in the figure below)

Explosion proof split type wiring method: POWER: Connect the positive and negative poles of a DC24V power supply; SENSER: - Connect shielded wire,+connect high-frequency wire;

3. Meaning of installation parameters
Installation method:In open environments, bracket installation is generally used, and the instrument is fixed with its own screw ring. Or directly open a circular hole with a diameter of 60mm at the installation position on the top of the tank or lid, place the instrument in it, and then tighten the screw ring from bottom to top. Installation must ensure that the probe surface of the instrument is level with the measured liquid level. As shown in the figure on the right, the probe of the instrument reflects back to the probe after hitting the liquid level. After the probe receives it, the time from sending to receiving the wave is calculated to obtain the measurement distance H. The current liquid level L is obtained by subtracting the measurement distance H from the instrument installation height TH. The instrument range refers to the distance that the instrument can measure, and the installation height TH should be less than the range. Instrument blind zone refers to the area where the instrument cannot measure near the probe. The distance between the highest liquid level and the probe should be greater than the blind zone. For example, if the blind zone is 0.5m, the distance between the highest liquid level and the probe must be greater than 0.5m. For example, if the range is 6 meters and the blind zone is 0.45 meters, the actual measured highest liquid level is 0~5.55 meters The transmission of waves by the probe is a diffusion process, which has a directional angle. Attention should be paid during installation, otherwise it may hit the protrusions on the pool wall or the edges of the channel.

4. Principles for Instrument Installation
The distance from the probe head to the lowest liquid level should be less than the range of the selected instrument.
The distance from the probe head to the highest liquid level should be greater than the blind spot of the selected instrument.
The emitting surface of the probe should be parallel to the liquid surface.
The installation position of the probe should try to avoid positions where the liquid level fluctuates violently, such as the inlet and outlet directly below.
If the pool wall or tank wall is not smooth, the installation position of the instrument should be at least 0.5m away from the pool wall or tank wall.
If the distance from the probe head to the highest liquid level is less than the blind spot of the selected instrument, an extension tube should be installed with a diameter greater than 150mm and a length of 0.45m to 0.60m. It should be installed vertically with a smooth inner wall, and the opening on the tank should be larger than the inner diameter of the extension tube. If there is mixing in the tank, floating objects or foam on the surface of the medium, it is necessary to install a guide tube with a pipe diameter of 150 mm or more, and the inner wall is smooth, which is vertically installed to the bottom of the tank.
5. Installation precautions
It is recommended to install sunshades for outdoor installation of instruments to extend their service life.
Wire and cable protection pipes should be sealed to prevent water accumulation.
Although the instrument itself has lightning protection devices, it is recommended to install dedicated lightning protection devices at the inlet and outlet of the instrument when it is used in areas with frequent lightning strikes.
When the instrument is used in extremely hot and cold places, where the ambient temperature may exceed the working requirements of the instrument, it is recommended to install high and low temperature devices around the level gauge.
