The small lamp intensity distribution tester isThe core equipment for detecting the light intensity distribution curve and distribution characteristics of products such as LED desk lamps, spotlights, and low-power ceiling lamps directly affects the optical performance judgment of the lamps. If there are omissions in the pre startup inspection, it can easily lead to test data deviation and even cause equipment failure. The following outlines the three key checks that must be completed before starting, covering the full dimensions of equipment, environment, and calibration.
1、 Equipment core component status check: eliminate mechanical and electrical hazards
Mechanical structure inspection
Manually rotate the test turntable (with power off operation) and feel for any jamming or abnormal noise. The levelness of the turntable needs to be confirmed by a spirit level (error ≤ 0.1 °). If it tilts, adjust the bottom support foot until it is level; Check if the fixture fixture is secure and if the fixture cushion is aged or damaged (damage can cause the fixture to loosen and affect the accuracy of the testing angle). At the same time, confirm that the adjustment range of the fixture matches the size of the tested fixture (if the fixture is large, the clamping diameter should be ≥ the diameter of the fixture base).
Electrical and Connection Inspection
Check if the insulation layer of the power and data cables (such as USB and RS232 cables) is damaged, and if the plug interface is oxidized or corroded; Start the main control power supply of the device and observe the status of the indicator lights (normally, the power light is always on and the fault light is off). If the fault light flashes, check whether the emergency stop button has been reset and whether the internal circuit has tripped; Check if the photodetector lens is clean. If there is dust, gently wipe it with specialized lens paper to avoid scratching the optical lens.
2、 Test environment adaptability check: ensure compliance with testing conditions
Environmental light and temperature and humidity control
The test needs to be conducted in a dark room environment. Before starting, use a light meter to detect the ambient light intensity (≤ 5lux). If it exceeds the standard, check whether the dark room blackout curtains are closed and whether the doors and windows are sealed; Simultaneously measure the environmental temperature and humidity, with the temperature controlled at 23 ℃± 2 ℃ and the humidity at 45% -65% RH (abnormal temperature and humidity can affect the sensitivity of the photodetector, such as high temperature causing detector drift). If the standard is not met, the air conditioner or dehumidifier should be turned on for adjustment.
Cleaning of testing area
Remove irrelevant items (such as tools, cardboard boxes) from the testing turntable and within 1 meter of its surroundings to avoid obstructing the signal received by the light detector; Confirm that there are no stains or damages on the surface of the tested lamp (such as scratches on the lampshade that may change the light output path). If the lamp is equipped with a cooling fan, check if the fan is running properly to prevent overheating from affecting the stability of the lamp's light output during testing.
3、 Parameter and calibration status check: ensure testing accuracy
System parameter verification
Open the testing software and confirm whether the current testing standard (such as GB/T 7002-2022 "Luminaires - Part 2-7: Special Requirements for Removable Luminaires for Garden Use"), light intensity unit (cd), and testing angle range (such as 0 ° -180 ° vertical angle, 0 ° -360 ° horizontal angle) are consistent with the requirements of the tested luminaire; Check if the power supply parameters of the lamp (such as voltage 220V, current 1A) match the rated value of the lamp to avoid overloading and damaging the lamp or affecting test data.
Calibration validity check
Check the equipment calibration certificate and confirm that the light detector and turntable angle sensor are within their validity period (the calibration cycle is usually 1 year, and it needs to be shortened to 6 months for high-frequency use); If it has been more than 3 months since the last calibration, a simple calibration verification is required - place a standard light source (such as an LED standard lamp with known light intensity) at the testing position, test the light intensity value at a fixed angle, and the deviation from the standard value should be ≤± 3%. If it exceeds the deviation, contact a metrology institution for recalibration.
Complete the above 3 checks and confirmSmall lamp intensity distribution testerAfter there are no abnormalities, the lighting fixtures can be fixed and the testing program can be started; At the initial stage of testing, it is necessary to collect 3-5 angles of light intensity data, compare historical test data (similar lamps), confirm that the data trend is normal, and then continue the full process testing to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the test results from the source.
