From the test results, it can be seen that the corners of the cardboard box bear the highest pressure, and the farther away from the corners, the lower the pressure. Therefore, cardboard boxes should be stacked with their corners aligned as much as possible.
There are three common ways to stack cardboard boxes: brick masonry, parallel top and bottom stacking, and windmill stacking. Among these three methods, the parallel stacking of the top and bottom is beneficial for maintaining sufficient compression of the box corners, therefore it is reasonable. Brick masonry and windmill style should be avoided as much as possible.
So when conducting compressive strength tests, stacking tests are also necessary.
