Functional Overview
The detector can simultaneously display dust concentration and signal output status. Frequency output type displays the frequency value corresponding to dust concentration; Flashing dots on current output and digital output displays indicate normal communication. The detector has 5 menu options, including "Debugging Signal Output", "Instrument Calibration", "Signal Gain Selection", "Over limit Concentration Setting", "Communication Data Setting", etc. The relevant parameters can be set through the accompanying FYF5 remote control transmitter.
Debugging signal output
The detector can simulate and output frequency, current, or digital signals corresponding to a certain dust concentration for the connected host to perform functional debugging. After turning on the detector, press the function keys on the remote control to enter the main menu in the default measurement display interface. Continue to press the function keys on the remote control to position the cursor at the "Debugging Signal Output" position. Press the confirm key on the remote control to enter the Debugging Signal Output submenu. On this interface, press the function keys on the remote control to change the position of the simulated dust concentration number, and press the increase or decrease key to change the value of the number bit, so that the displayed dust concentration is the desired value. The signal output terminal of the detector will output the frequency or current signal corresponding to the current displayed dust concentration (the signal type is determined by the already set output standard) for the host to debug. Press the confirm button on the remote control to exit the debugging signal output state and return to the default interface.
Instrument calibration
The detector is calibrated through "zero calibration" and "sensitivity calibration". The zero calibration of the detector should be carried out in clean air, while the sensitivity calibration should be carried out in an environment with known dust concentration. When calibrating the instrument, the correct password needs to be entered. Users generally do not have the calibration conditions and should be completed by the manufacturer.
Zero point calibration
After turning on the detector, press the function keys on the remote control in the default measurement display interface to enter the main menu. Continue to press the function keys on the remote control to place the cursor at the "instrument calibration" position. Press the confirmation key on the remote control to enter the password input state. Press the selection key on the remote control to change the password position, and then press the increase or decrease key to change the corresponding password digit to a known calibration password. Press the confirmation key on the remote control to enter the instrument calibration interface. Press the increase or decrease key on the remote control to place the cursor at the "zero calibration" position, and press the confirmation key on the remote control to enter the zero calibration interface. Press the selection button on the remote control to change the position of the displayed dust concentration number in the zero calibration interface, press the increase or decrease button to change the corresponding value, so that the displayed dust concentration is the desired value, and press the confirm button to complete the zero calibration. Zero calibration should be performed in clean air, and the input dust concentration should generally be "0000.0", or a lower concentration value can be input as needed.
2 Sensitivity calibration
After turning on the detector, press the function keys on the remote control in the default measurement display interface to enter the main menu. Continue to press the function keys on the remote control to place the cursor at the "instrument calibration" position. Press the confirmation key on the remote control to enter the password input state. Press the selection key on the remote control to change the password position, and then press the increase or decrease key to change the corresponding password digit to a known calibration password. Press the confirmation key on the remote control to enter the instrument calibration interface. Press the increase or decrease key on the remote control to place the cursor at the "sensitivity calibration" position, and press the confirmation key on the remote control to enter the sensitivity calibration interface. Press the selection button on the remote control in the sensitivity calibration interface to change the position of the displayed dust concentration number, and press the increase or decrease button to change the corresponding value, so that the displayed dust concentration is the current dust concentration in the environment. Press the confirm button to complete the sensitivity calibration.
Signal gain selection
The signal gain selection is to adjust the measurement circuit parameters of the detector. This function is only used by the manufacturer during the production of the detector, and the parameter cannot be modified after the detector leaves the factory.
Dust concentration exceeding limit setting
After turning on the detector, press the function keys on the remote control in the default measurement display interface to enter the main menu. Continue to press the function keys on the remote control to position the cursor at the "over limit concentration setting" position. Press the confirm key on the remote control to enter the password input state. On this interface, press the select key on the remote control to change the password position, and then press the increase or decrease key to change the corresponding password digit to make the input password a known calibration password. Press the confirm key on the remote control to enter the over limit concentration setting interface. Press the selection button on the remote control in the over limit concentration setting interface to change the numerical positions of the over limit value and reset value, press the increase or decrease button to change the corresponding numerical value, and press the confirm button to complete the setting. When the measured dust concentration is greater than or equal to the set alarm value, the detector emits an audible and visual alarm signal. When the measured dust concentration data is lower than the set release value, the detector stops the audible and visual alarm; When the measured dust concentration exceeds the set power-off value, the detector outputs a switch signal for connecting other devices; When the measured dust concentration is lower than the set reset value, the detector outputs a reverse switch signal.
Communication data settings
After turning on the detector, press the function keys on the remote control in the default measurement display interface to enter the main menu. Continue to press the function keys on the remote control to place the cursor in the "Communication Data Settings" position. Enter the password to enter and set the communication address. When using RS485 digital signal transmission, if multiple detectors are connected in parallel on a bus, the detector address should be set to different values, and the address code should meet the requirements for reading by the communication substation.
Level 4 alarm and fault alarm function
Level 1 alarm
The detector has a four level alarm function, which emits a four level sound and light alarm signal with a frequency ranging from slow to fast based on the severity and time of the dust concentration measurement exceeding the alarm value. The fourth level is the lowest alarm level, and the first level is the highest alarm level.
2 Fault alarms
When the detector experiences hardware failure, a short prompt sound is emitted every 5 seconds, and the display screen indicates the fault category in text form.
