Combustible gas detectors are widely used in places prone to explosion accidents such as petrochemicals and oil depots. When the amount of combustible gas leakage on the spot reaches the alarm value, the alarm host sends an alarm signal, which is an important tool to ensure production and personal safety. After using the combustible gas alarm for a period of time, there may be measurement errors and it needs to be calibrated regularly.
Calibration Specification for Combustible Gas Alarm Devices
The alarm points vary depending on the standard sample gas selected for the same medium. Fill the combustible gas into a standard sample airbag and inject a certain amount of air into the combustible gas mixture to form a combustible gas mixture of a certain concentration. Before calibration, the surrounding environment of the detector should be free of flammable gases. If there is combustible gas, first remove the rain cover, fill it with a certain amount of clean air, and then continuously introduce sample gas to ensure the accuracy of calibration.
After the preparation work is completed, install a calibration cap at the sensor inlet and inject about 80% of standard gas. After the output value of the instrument is stable, adjust the "range calibration potentiometer CAL" so that the displayed value of the sub meter corresponds to the gas concentration value flowing into the standard gas. Turn off the standard gas and zero the sensor in fresh air or nitrogen. If the zero drift occurs, readjust the zero potentiometer to make the secondary instrument display zero. Inject all standard gases with a concentration of approximately 80%. After the output value of the instrument is stable, adjust the range calibration potentiometer to make the displayed value of the sub meter correspond to the concentration value of the feed standard gas.
