Do you know the common troubleshooting of stainless steel pressure gauges!
Date: 2024-01-17Read: 8
Stainless steel pressure gauge is a common instrument used to measure the pressure of liquids or gases, but various malfunctions are inevitable during use. Below are several common faults and troubleshooting methods of stainless steel pressure gauges.
1. Pressure gauge reading error
If the pressure gauge reading is incorrect, it may be due to disorderly interference with the dial pointer or damage to the parts inside the gauge. The following measures can be taken:
① Check if the dial pointer is aligned with the scale line. If there is any deviation, gently adjust it to the correct position.
② Check if the parts in the checklist are damaged and replace them if necessary.
2. The pressure gauge pointer swings unstably or vibrates
If the pointer of the pressure gauge swings unstably or vibrates, it may be due to loose installation of the instrument or loose internal components of the instrument. The following measures can be taken:
① Check if the installation of the instrument is secure, and if it is loose, it should be re fixed.
② Check if the internal components of the instrument are securely fastened. If they are loose, they need to be re fixed.
3. The pressure gauge cannot read
If the pressure gauge cannot read, it may be due to contamination of the dial or damage to the parts inside the gauge. The following measures can be taken:
① Check if the dial is contaminated and clean if necessary.
② Check if the internal components of the instrument are damaged and replace them if necessary.
4. Pressure gauge leakage
If there is a leak in the pressure gauge, it may be due to poor sealing of the instrument or aging of the sealing gasket. The following measures can be taken:
① Check if the instrument seal is intact, and replace the seal if necessary.
② Check if the sealing gasket is aging, and replace it if necessary.
5. Pressure gauge damaged
If the pressure gauge is severely damaged, it may be due to external impact or aging caused by long-term use. The following measures can be taken:
① Check if the instrument panel has been impacted by external forces, and replace any damaged parts if necessary.
② Check if the instrument has exceeded its service life, and if so, replace the entire instrument.
In short, stainless steel pressure gauges are inevitably prone to various malfunctions during use, but as long as the correct handling methods are adopted according to the actual situation, the problems can be effectively solved, ensuring their normal operation and long-term stable use.
