useMicrowave digestion instrumentTemperature/pressure conditions for inorganic reaction
Typically, the digestion of inorganic samples requires a significant amount of corrosive mixed acids, and sometimes requires reaction at high temperatures to achieve complete digestion of the sample. Due to the minimal production of gaseous products during its digestion process, its digestion reaction is often predictable. Some ceramic samples (such as alpha alumina) require temperature conditions to decompose. The required temperature may exceed the upper limit of the operating temperature for PFA vessels (280 ℃). At this point, as the digestive pressure will not increase too much, it may be considered to use a quartz container for digestion under open conditions. The pressure generated during acid decomposition of highly oxidizing substances such as minerals, ores, ceramics, or certain alloys in a closed container is lower than that generated during the digestion of organic matter. Most inorganic samples can be dissolved at temperatures below 185 ℃ and pressures below 120psi. There is no need to use the programmed temperature and pressure rise mode. Increasing temperature and pressure usually cannot accelerate digestion and will reduce the lifespan of the container.
