Humidity ChamberThe electrical system is like its' nervous system ', controlling the various operational functions of the equipment. Once the electrical system malfunctions, the test chamber will be unable to simulate the temperature and humidity environment normally, which will affect the testing process and results. Below, Hubei Gaotian Experimental Equipment will introduce methods for dealing with electrical system failures.
1. Observe the fault phenomenon: When there is an abnormality in the test box, first carefully observe the fault manifestation. For example, if the device cannot start, it may be due to power supply issues or main control board failures; If the temperature or humidity control is abnormal, it may be a malfunction of the sensor, controller, or related executing components. For example, if there is abnormal noise during the operation of the test chamber, it may be due to problems with components such as motors or relays. Record the specific situation at the time of the malfunction, such as ongoing operations, equipment operating status, alarm prompts, etc. This information helps to accurately determine the cause of the malfunction.
2. Check the appearance and connection: Check whether there is any obvious damage to the wires, plugs, sockets, etc. outside the electrical control cabinet and equipment of the test box, such as damaged wire skins, loose plugs, or burnt marks. Check whether the installation of each electrical component is firm, and whether there is any looseness or displacement. If damaged wires are found, they should be replaced in a timely manner; If the plug is loose, plug it in again and check if the socket is in good contact.

1. Power input check: Use a multimeter to measure the input voltage of the power supply, ensuring that it is within the rated voltage range specified in the test chamber, with a generally allowable fluctuation range of ± 10% of the rated voltage. If the voltage is too high or too low, it may cause the equipment to malfunction or even damage electrical components. Check if the phase sequence of the three-phase power supply is correct. Incorrect phase sequence may cause the compressor and other motor equipment to reverse, affecting the cooling effect. If there are problems with voltage or phase sequence, contact a professional electrician to check the power supply line and distribution box.
2. Fuses and circuit breakers: Check if the fuses inside the test box are blown. If they are blown, identify the cause and replace them with fuses of the same specifications. Do not replace high-capacity fuses at will to avoid losing their protective function and causing electrical accidents. At the same time, check if the circuit breaker has tripped. If it has tripped, try to close it again after troubleshooting. If the circuit breaker trips frequently, it may be due to issues such as overload or short circuit in the circuit, and further investigation is needed.
1. Temperature sensor: The temperature sensor is used to monitor the temperature inside the test chamber in real time, and its failure can lead to inaccurate temperature control. It is possible to determine whether the sensor is functioning properly by comparing the temperature displayed by the sensor with the temperature measured by a standard thermometer. If there is a significant deviation between the two, it may be a sensor malfunction. The temperature sensors of some test chambers can be repaired by replacing the probes. If the probes are damaged, they should be replaced with probes of the same model and recalibrated. If there is an open or short circuit in the sensor circuit, it is necessary to check the circuit and repair or replace it.
2. Humidity sensor: Malfunction of the humidity sensor can affect the accuracy of humidity control. Check if there is dust or moisture adhering to the surface of the humidity sensor. If so, clean the sensor by gently wiping it with a clean soft cloth. If it still cannot work properly after cleaning, use professional instruments to check whether the output signal of the sensor is normal. If the signal is abnormal, it may be due to damage to the internal components of the sensor, and a new humidity sensor needs to be replaced and calibrated to ensure accurate humidity measurement.

1. Operation panel inspection: Check whether the display on the operation panel is normal, whether there are garbled characters, black screens, and other phenomena. Check if the buttons are sensitive and able to input parameters normally. If the operation panel displays abnormally or the buttons fail, it may be due to loose connections between the operation panel and the controller, or damage to the operation panel itself. Try unplugging and connecting the ribbon cable again. If the problem persists, replace the control panel.
2. Control program and parameters: Confirm whether the control program inside the controller is normal, and check whether the temperature and humidity setting parameters are correct. Sometimes misoperation may result in incorrect parameter settings, leading to malfunctions. If you suspect that there is a problem with the control program, you can try resetting the controller to restore the default settings, and then resetting the parameters. If the issue persists after resetting, it may be due to a damaged control program. It is necessary to contact the manufacturer to obtain a new program for upgrading or repairing.
1. Refrigeration system components: If electrical components such as compressors, condenser fans, evaporator fans, etc. in the refrigeration system fail, it will affect the refrigeration effect. Check whether the compressor is started, which can be determined by listening to the sound of the compressor running or touching the compressor casing to feel the vibration. If the compressor does not start, check if the starting capacitor of the compressor is damaged and use a multimeter to measure the capacitance. If the capacitance is abnormal, replace it with a capacitor of the same specification. Check if the condenser and evaporator fans are rotating. If the fans are not rotating, check if the fan motor is burnt out. Measure the resistance of the motor winding to determine. If the motor is damaged, replace it.
2. Heating and humidification components: Heating tube failure can cause the test chamber to fail to heat up. Check if there are burn marks on the surface of the heating tube. If there are, it indicates that the heating tube is damaged and needs to be replaced. Use a multimeter to measure the resistance value of the heating tube. If the resistance value is infinite, it also indicates that the heating tube is open and needs to be replaced. For humidification systems, check if the electrodes, water level sensors, and other components of the humidifier are working properly. If the humidifier does not work, it may be due to electrode fouling and needs to be cleaned; If the water level sensor malfunctions, it will cause the humidifier to be unable to replenish water normally, and the water level sensor needs to be replaced.

Humidity ChamberThe troubleshooting of electrical systems requires patience and attention to detail, and should be carried out step by step. If you have limited understanding of electrical knowledge or encounter complex faults, Hubei Gaotian Test Equipment recommends contacting professional maintenance personnel or technical support from test box manufacturers in a timely manner to avoid self handling and causing more serious damage.
