Based on the high reliability requirements, complex distribution system, large scale and high density of power consumption in data centers, this project is the renovation of an old distribution room in a mobile data center. The project mainly aims to install a low-voltage backup automatic switching device in the 0.4kV section to switch to the backup power supply in case of main power failure, ensuring the continuity of power supply. At the same time, a power monitoring system will be added in the distribution room to monitor, measure, control, and protect the entire distribution line of the distribution room.

The 0.4kV power supply system of this project mainly consists of three station transformer incoming lines, two busbars, and two diesel generator incoming lines, as shown in the figure.

The three station transformers are all 10/0.4kV and come from the same 10kV busbar. Among them, incoming line 1 and incoming line 2 are the main incoming lines, incoming line 3 serves as a hot standby for one of the two incoming lines (when both main incoming lines lose power, only section I busbar is supplied with power), and section III busbar does not carry any load; Two diesel generator lines are used as backup for station transformer lines. This project uses two low-voltage backup automatic switching devices AM5-DB to collect the voltage and current of three station transformers, two diesel generator voltages, and the position status of each circuit breaker. It also integrates the opening and closing control signals of seven circuit breakers and the starting signals of two diesel generators to control the backup automatic switching of the low-voltage system. Two AM5-DB low-voltage backup automatic switching protection devices for this project are installed in the newly added backup automatic switching wall mounted box in the renovated distribution room.

To monitor the operation and data collection of the entire distribution room in real time, the project is equipped with an Acrel-2000 power monitoring system. Through the ANet-2E4S intelligent gateway, the on-site equipment, including the existing microcomputer protection device in the 10kV section, the newly added backup automatic switching device in the 0.4kV section, and the multi-functional power instrument in the 0.4kV section, are transmitted to the backend power monitoring system to achieve data collection, monitoring, and control functions for the equipment in this distribution room.

The Acrel-2000 power monitoring system of this project supports 0.4kV backup automatic switching control status display, mainly displaying the backup automatic switching process of three incoming lines, one connection, and two diesel generators. The backup supply incoming line serves as a hot backup for one of the two incoming lines. When all three mains incoming lines lose power, the two diesel generator incoming lines serve as backup for the station transformer incoming lines.
