[Keywords]:Enterprise; Power monitoring system; Biological diagnosis; laboratory

Project Overview and Construction Objectives

Zhejiang Dian Diagnostic Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Dian Diagnostic" or "Dian") was established in 2001, with its headquarters located in Hangzhou. Dian Diagnostics focuses on independent medical laboratories, forensic appraisal, sales of diagnostic products, research and development of diagnostic technologies, and industrialization. This project involves two six story factories with a total construction area of 44866 square meters. The project has three distribution rooms, namely 1 #, 2 #, and 3 #, with the duty room located in the 1 # distribution room.

2 Advanced Power Distribution Systems

The power distribution system of biological diagnostic reagent research and development enterprises is usually complex and has a high load level. There are high management requirements for the reliability, power quality, and electrical safety of the distribution system, which bring certain requirements to the operation and management of the power system. Real time monitoring of distribution networks and electrical equipment through Acrel-2000 power monitoring system. It can improve the reliability of enterprise power supply and the ability to respond to emergencies, and achieve low power distribution solutions remotely through monitoring servers or personal computers

Monitoring: Check equipment performance, monitor the use of electrical systems and various branch electrical equipment, and constantly monitor whether the power quality of the enterprise meets the standards;

Optimization: Regularly generate analysis and withdrawal reports, optimize the use of assets, and make correct operational decisions;

Energy saving: Real time reminders and alarms with operation and maintenance personnel. Remote implementation of electricity management strategies;

Control: Responsible for collecting downstream load data and uploading it to the monitoring end through a multifunctional monitoring device installed on the low-voltage electrical circuit. At the same time, it can receive control commands from upstream servers to control the opening and closing of circuit breakers. Classify the load of enterprise equipment, and cut off unimportant loads when the electrical energy exceeds the standard.

Safety: By monitoring the leakage of low-voltage outgoing circuits and cable temperature, the probability of electrical fires caused by aging and improper use of electrical equipment is reduced, and the safety of the operation of the power supply and distribution system is improved.

Design of Three Power Monitoring Systems

In the design of the monitoring and management system, the characteristics of the enterprise itself, as well as the actual structure of the power system and the actual load capacity of the power system, are fully considered, and management equipment is reasonably selected. This is not only conducive to reducing the cost of system operation, but also conducive to the realization of system functions. Automated power monitoring software needs to be simple and easy to operate and comply with relevant specifications and standards.

3.1 Selection of Power Monitoring Equipment

The requirements for power supply safety and reliability include real-time understanding of the power supply system, rapid response to faults, and the ability to restore power supply in a short period of time in case of unexpected power outages. Therefore, it is necessary to configure microcomputer protection devices for the 10kV distribution circuit, monitor the operation status of the 10kV circuit in real time, and respond quickly to abnormal situations or serious faults within 40ms. By using sound and light alarm signals or directly cutting off serious fault points, accidents can be avoided and the scope of accidents that have already occurred can be expanded; Record the operating status of all circuit breakers, transformers, and equipment through I/O modules and transformer temperature controllers, such as the statistics of switch opening times, transformer temperature, and other equipment information, establish equipment maintenance and repair files, and avoid unexpected power outages caused by equipment failures; Real time recording of electricity consumption information of various electrical equipment through multifunctional meters; Real time monitoring of the power factor of the power supply and distribution system is achieved through a reactive power compensation controller. When the power factor of the system decreases, local reactive power compensation is carried out by automatically switching on capacitors.

Considering the actual operational management requirements of the distribution system, this project has configured PZ96L-E4/H in important circuits such as low-voltage incoming lines and busbars, which can achieve full electrical parameter measurement (three-phase voltage, current, active power, reactive power, power factor, electrical energy, grid frequency, etc.) and electrical energy quality analysis; By configuring ARCM200L-Z2 in the low-voltage outgoing circuit, it is possible to achieve full electrical parameter measurement (three-phase voltage, current, active power, reactive power, power factor, electrical energy, grid frequency, etc.) as well as monitoring of residual current and cable temperature. At the same time, the meter also has two communication interfaces to upload signals to the power monitoring system and the electrical fire monitoring system in the fire control room, achieving comprehensive monitoring, reducing enterprise costs, and simplifying on-site installation.

3.2 Network composition of power monitoring system

The system adopts a hierarchical and distributed system structure, vertically divided into three layers: monitoring layer, communication network layer, and on-site control layer. The system uses highly reliable industrial control computers and software/hardware systems, high-performance fieldbus technology and network communication technology, ensuring safe, stable, reliable operation and easy maintenance of the entire system.

The monitoring layer includes engineer stations and remote communication stations, including monitoring computers, network switches, printers, UPS, and Acrel-2000 power monitoring software. The software part has a good human-computer interaction interface, which reads various on-site data information collected by the communication management machine through data transmission protocols, automatically calculates and processes it, and reflects the operating status of the site in the form of graphics, digital displays, sound, etc; The electric energy metering management function is designed with various report formats that meet the needs of users. The data in the reports is strictly measured according to various standards, and a complete metering system is built. Users only need to search and print, which is convenient for operation and improves work efficiency.

The communication network layer includes communication management machines, network switches, and other devices. The network structure is shown in the following figure:

2.4 Software Function Design of Power Monitoring System

The system is designed based on the actual needs of the customer and has implemented a main wiring diagram interface display; Remote measurement of electrical parameters and alarm for exceeding electrical parameter limits; Event records; Monitoring of abnormal system operation; Fault alarm and operation records; Query and printing of electric energy reports; The main functions include real-time system load, historical curve, and user permission management.

Data collection and processing

Through high-precision intelligent instruments and technological means, automated real-time and high-density real-time monitoring of electricity consumption information is achieved, including calculating active and reactive power, current, voltage, total load, transformer load rate, power, power factor, power quality, etc. At the same time, reasonable control and early warning of electricity are carried out, and abnormal electricity consumption during operation is detected and corrected in a timely manner, and dealt with at any time. Set warning values for important equipment exceeding standards as needed, and provide prominent reminders and proactive records when exceeding standards.

Electricity sub item, branch, and regional metering

The implementation of itemized statistics on electricity consumption (such as lighting sockets, power, etc.) and itemized reports helps users to have a clear understanding of the electricity consumption of each item; Statistically analyze the energy consumption of various regions, important equipment, and circuits, accurately locate major electricity consumers, develop energy-saving performance evaluation systems, and promote effective implementation of energy conservation and consumption reduction. Establish operation record files for energy consuming equipment, track and record the energy efficiency analysis and evaluation results during the long-term operation of the equipment, and provide a basis for the operation and maintenance of the equipment in combination with maintenance records.

Construction of electricity management and metering system

In order to monitor the electricity consumption of various power circuits in enterprises, the system has designed a power management report. The system collects active electricity according to different circuit names. According to the principles of building a measurement system, daily, monthly, and annual reports are automatically generated, reflecting the energy consumption of each incoming and outgoing circuit in the same report, and calculating the sum of electricity consumption of the outgoing circuit, the error between the outgoing and incoming circuits, the error percentage (whether the error percentage exceeds the standard), etc., to help users detect abnormal electricity consumption problems in a timely manner.

At the same time, the energy management system can query the electricity consumption of a certain circuit during a certain period of time, which can help the logistics management department establish an energy management assessment system. Through the construction of the system and the establishment of regulations, the energy-saving awareness of office and production personnel in various departments has been greatly improved, effectively saving energy consumption in enterprise management and office.

Load limit alarm

According to the operating conditions of different loads, users can set different current limits for each circuit to achieve the desired current value and generate alarm records.

Leakage monitoring

Real time monitoring of low voltage outgoing circuit leakage and cable temperature. Once the leakage exceeds the standard value (300-500ma) or the cable temperature is too high, an alarm message will be immediately issued to provide operation and maintenance management personnel to go to the site to find and solve the hidden danger.

3. The significance of applying energy management system in power supply and distribution design

In summary, the power monitoring system can help biological diagnostic reagent research and development enterprises improve their electricity safety factor, reduce losses, lower operating costs, and ensure the efficiency of power grid management while reducing electricity operating costs. It has also become an important component of power supply and distribution design. The communication, fault alarm, data storage and recording functions of the power system make it more convenient for workers in practical work. They can directly understand the operating status of the power system through the human-machine interface and quickly transmit operation instructions. Since the transmission of data by monitoring equipment is achieved through network transmission, different power monitoring systems can be designed with different networking methods to ensure that data information can be transmitted quickly and efficiently. On the other hand, in the design of building and enterprise power distribution systems, the use of energy management systems should be based on the actual situation when selecting monitoring equipment.
