Magnetic flap level gauge is a commonly used liquid level measuring instrument in industrial production.
It determines the liquid level height by measuring the position of the interface between liquid and gas, in order to monitor and control changes in liquid level. The working principle of the magnetic flap level gauge is mainly based on the interaction between the float principle and magnetism.
1、 The key component of the float principle magnetic flap level gauge is the float, which is usually made of materials with buoyancy characteristics, such as plastic or stainless steel.
When the float is immersed in a liquid, it is subjected to the buoyancy of the liquid. According to Archimedes' principle, buoyancy is equal to the gravity of the liquid; When the liquid level rises, the float will be pushed upwards, and when the liquid level drops, the float will be pulled downwards.
By measuring the position change of the float, the height of the liquid level can be determined.
2、 Magnetic interaction in a magnetic flap level gauge allows operators to determine the level height by observing or measuring the position of the float, and the change in float position is closely related to magnetic interaction.
The upper part of the liquid level gauge is equipped with a set of powerful permanent magnets, and the lower part is equipped with measuring equipment.
When the magnetic body on the float attracts the upper permanent magnet, the float will be in a closed state and the liquid cannot flow through the level gauge.
When the float is pushed upwards due to the increase in liquid level, the relative position between the magnetic body and the permanent magnet will change, causing the attractive force to weaken or disappear, thereby restoring the float to an open state and allowing the liquid to pass through the level gauge.
By measuring the changes in the float state, the height of the liquid level can be determined.
3、 Liquid level measurement and control can accurately measure the height of the liquid level based on the position change of the float of the magnetic flap level gauge, and convert it into an output signal for monitoring and controlling the liquid level.
Magnetic flap level gauges are usually equipped with indicator lights or digital display screens, which can intuitively display the level height.
At the same time, the liquid level gauge can also output electrical or current signals for further processing by the control system to achieve automated control.
Summary: The magnetic flap level gauge measures and controls the liquid level through the principle of float and magnetic interaction.
It has the characteristics of simple installation, high reliability, and wide applicability, and is widely used in liquid level monitoring and control in industries such as chemical, petroleum, power, and food.
