On March 8, 2024, International Women's Day, in order to celebrate Women's Day and enrich the leisure life of female employees, with the care and support of company leaders, a goddess's day was organized - "Wu Yun Su Cheng Youth League Construction Bank, Team Unity Embarks on a New Journey". On the second day, all female employees gathered in four historic scenic spots in Suzhou and embarked on a cultural journey.

On the morning of March 8th at 7 o'clock, all female employees of the company arrived in Suzhou with a happy mood and laughter all the way. After a bus journey of about 4 hours, we got off at noon and started to go to the scenic spots after finishing Chinese food.

First stop: Hanshan Temple

As soon as we entered Hanshan Temple, we were immediately attracted by its quaint and solemn atmosphere. The temple is located among the mountains and forests, surrounded by green trees, with birds singing and flowers blooming. The buildings inside the temple are magnificent, every stone, everyEvery brick and tile reveals the traces of time and the vicissitudes of history. Walk along the flagstone road to the the Shakya ManiHall, which is one of the most famous buildings of Hanshan Temple. Inside the hall, there is a statue of Shakyamuni Buddha, and the exquisite murals behind the statue make people feel the infinite charm of Buddhist art. During the visit, we heard the bell ringing from Hanshan Temple. The sound of the bell is deep and melodious, as if it can wash away the dust in people's hearts.Here, we not only appreciate the charm of ancient architecture and the profoundness of Buddhist culture, but also feel the weight of history and the beauty of Suzhou gardens. This trip has given us a new understanding of life: we need to maintain inner peace and determination in order to better face the challenges and difficulties of life.

Second stop: Zhouzhuang

Zhouzhuang Town is Zeguo, surrounded by water on all sides. The first attraction here is Shen Hall. To the north of Shen Hall is Yan Hall, and to the north of Yan Hall is Zhang Hall. To the east of Shenting is Tiyun Bridge, to the east of Xiaoting is the famous Fu'an Bridge, and to the northwest of Zhangting is a huge double bridge. Every time I step onto an ancient bridge, I gaze at the shimmering water surface, the blue bricks and white tiles reflected in the water, the bustling tourists, and the small boats sailing on the rippling waters, like a quaint and beautiful landscape painting. Shuixiang Zhouzhuang, due to its water town, is located along Shuicheng Street, and the city is formed by the street. Here, the ancient water town pattern of the 14th century "well" shape is still well preserved, with 14 ancient stone bridges built in the Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties.

Third stop: Humble Administrator's Garden

Humble Administrator's Garden is located at 178 Northeast Street, Gusu District, Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province. In the eighth year of the Ming Zhengde era (1513), Wang Xianchen, a censor who had returned to his hometown after being dismissed, built a garden on the foundation of Dahong Temple and named it Humble Administrator's Garden after Pan Yue's "Idle Residence Ode" from the Western Jin Dynasty, which stated that "building a house and planting trees... this is also a foolish way of governance". Afterwards, he changed his master repeatedly and entered the government several times, experiencing ups and downs. From 1860 to 1863, it belonged to the Zhongwang Mansion of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom. Renovated in 1951. The Humble Administrator's Garden covers an area of 78 acres (52000 square meters) and is divided into three parts: east, middle, and west.

Fourth stop: Pingjiang Road

Pingjiang Road is a historic old street in Suzhou, a small path along the river named Pingjiang River. The Pingjiang Road Historic District is the most well preserved area of the ancient city of Suzhou, and can be regarded as a microcosm of the ancient city. Compared with the "General Map of Waterways in Suzhou Prefecture" of the Southern Song Dynasty and the late Ming Dynasty, Pingjiang Road basically continued the urban layout since the Tang and Song Dynasties and maintained vitality.

This Goddess Day - the company organized the "March 8th Festival" spring outing in Suzhou for 2 days, which not only exercised the physical fitness of all female compatriots, enriched their leisure cultural life, but also harmonious the relationship between colleagues and enhanced the cohesion of employees.
