Reasons for gas rotor flowmeter malfunction
Gas rotor flowmeterIt is a volumetric flowmeter, in which the rotational speed of the rotor has a certain proportional relationship with the accumulated flow rate of the fluid during the measurement process. The flow rate of the fluid can be calculated based on the rotational speed of the rotor.
The existing gas rotor flowmeter is equipped with a pair of involute meshing rotors inside, and the axis of the rotors is perpendicular to the axis of the measuring chamber (i.e. the dual rotor flowmeter is radially extended), resulting in a relatively large volume. The gas rotor flowmeter is also equipped with a signal output mechanism, which can output the rotational speed of the rotor in the form of a signal, and then the meter can calculate the output fluid flow rate based on the signal.
However, due to the involute shape of the meshing teeth set on the surface of the rotor, the meshing between the two rotors during use belongs to the contact between the tooth surfaces. The contact surface is relatively large, and during rotation, both relative sliding and relative rolling occur between the two rotors, resulting in wear between the rotors. The wear of the rotor will reduce the degree of meshing between the rotors, thereby reducing the accuracy of flow measurement. Therefore, attention should be paid to the use of gas rotor flow meters.
Gas rotor flowmeter is a high-precision instrument. If it is used improperly or something directly affects its operation during use, it can cause problemsGas rotor flowmeterThe malfunction will affect future work, so it is important to pay attention to these things during the work process.
(1) When the pointer shakes during use
If there is slight shaking, it may be caused by the fluctuation of the medium during the measurement process. In this case, the instrument will not be damaged. As long as the damping is increased, the influence of the medium on the instrument can be overcome, which is enough to solve the problem of slight pointer oscillation. But sometimes there may be severe shaking, which may be caused by non-compliance with the operating state during the operation process. The deviation in this regard is still due to the inability of the staff to adjust the actual state of the gas rotor flowmeter according to the actual situation.
(2) The pointer got stuck during use
When the gas rotor flowmeter is used for * times, the opening speed of the valve may be too fast, which will cause the metal float to rise and hit the stopper, causing deformation of the stopper and definitely causing the metal float to get stuck. If this situation really occurs, the instrument must be removed and the stopper must be shaped before it can be used again. When checking the gas rotor flowmeter, it is important to ensure that the guide rod is concentric in order to prevent similar situations from occurring again in future operations. Only then can the float be reinstalled. When installing a gas rotor flowmeter, it must be installed vertically. If it tilts, it will have a significant impact on the data measured later.
(3) No current output
Firstly, check if the wiring of the gas rotor flowmeter is correct. Next, check if the LCD has a display. If there is a display but no output, it is mostly due to a broken output tube and the circuit board needs to be replaced. Lost calibration value after Zui.Gas rotor flowmeterDue to E2PROM malfunction, the instrument calibration data is lost, which can also cause no output current and the current will remain unchanged.
