  2、 The use of intelligent micro differential pressure transmitter

  Precautions for maintenance and calibration of intelligent differential pressure transmitters during use
  1. Regular zero point inspection/calibration:
  Zero drift is the main source of error in micro differential pressure measurement. Regularly (e.g. monthly/quarterly, depending on operating conditions) conduct online or offline zero point checks/calibrations.
  Use a balance valve (three valve group) for online zero calibration (recommended): Close the high and low pressure isolation valves, open the balance valve (theoretically, the high and low pressure ends should be connected with equal pressure), and check that the output should be 4mA (or 0% of the corresponding analog value) or the set point (digital type). If there is any deviation, perform Zero Trim calibration.
  2. Zero point calibration operation:
  It must be carried out in a static (no process fluctuations) and constant temperature environment (the transmitter should be preheated for at least 30 minutes after being powered on).
  Confirm that the pressure at both ends has been balanced (through the balancing valve).
  Perform zero position adjustment on the transmitter LCD, handheld device, or upper computer software. Do not force zero through mechanical knobs (most smart models do not have this knob).
  3. Prevent instrument overvoltage:
  Although the static pressure resistance of the micro differential pressure transmitter is high, operational errors (such as unilateral pressurization, rapid valve closure, or opening the valve too quickly) can easily lead to excessive differential pressure and damage to the core sensor.
  Before disassembly/maintenance, it is necessary to release pressure: close the high and low pressure isolation valves, open the balance valve (and drain valve, if any), release the pressure in the high and low pressure chambers of the transmitter before operation.
  4. Avoid condensation/freezing:
  When measuring wet gases, ensure the correct slope of the pressure pipe and use heat tracing/insulation to prevent liquid accumulation from freezing. Accumulation of fluid can lead to unstable or incorrect measurements.
  5. Regular inspection: Check whether the appearance, electrical connections, and grounding are intact, and whether the pressure conduit is leaking or blocked.
