Intelligent spiral vortex flowmeter, as an important tool for modern industrial gas measurement, is widely used in industries such as petroleum, chemical, power, metallurgy, and urban gas supply due to its advantages of high precision, wide flow range, and strong anti-interference ability. However, to ensure its long-term stable operation and measurement accuracy, users need to strictly follow the following precautions during use.
1、 Installation environment and location selection
The intelligent spiral vortex flowmeter has high installation environment requirements. During installation, strong magnetic field interference and strong mechanical vibration sources should be avoided, and equipment such as motors and transformers should be kept at a safe distance. When installing outdoors, a cover must be installed on the upper part of the flowmeter to prevent rainwater from entering and direct sunlight from aging the casing; In winter, the shell needs to be insulated to avoid liquid accumulation or freezing caused by low medium temperature. In addition, the installation location should reserve sufficient space for daily inspection, maintenance, and parameter calibration.
2、 Specification for pipeline preparation and installation
Before installation, it is necessary to clean the inner wall of the pipeline, remove impurities such as welding slag, rust, and stones, to prevent damage to the vortex generator or flow guiding components inside the flowmeter. When connecting pipelines, the upstream and downstream flanges must be aligned coaxially with an error not exceeding0.5mmTo avoid sealing failure or measurement deviation caused by installation stress. If the pipeline is long or close to the vibration source, support frames should be installed upstream and downstream of the flowmeter, and elastic expansion joints should be used to eliminate the vibration effect. It is strictly prohibited to directly weld at the inlet and outlet flanges of the flowmeter to prevent high temperature from burning out the internal sensors.
3、 Operation and operation management
When the flowmeter is put into operation, the upstream and downstream valves should be slowly opened to avoid instantaneous airflow impact and damage to the starter or pressure sensor. For newly installed or overhauled systems, it is recommended to operate at low flow rates first24After the medium stabilizes, gradually increase it to the rated flow rate. During daily operation, it is necessary to regularly check for leaks at the flange connections. If aging sealing gaskets or loose bolts are found, they should be replaced and tightened in a timely manner. During winter operation, special attention should be paid to the temperature of the medium to prevent liquid accumulation from freezing due to low temperatures.
4、 Electrical safety and explosion-proof requirements
The intelligent spiral vortex flowmeter needs to be reliably grounded, but it is prohibited to share the ground wire with the high-voltage system to avoid electrical interference. When using external power supply, it must be strictly connected8-24VDCDC power supply, it is strictly prohibited to directly connect it to the signal output port220VACor380VACAC power to prevent burning of circuit boards. For explosion-proof flow meters, users are not allowed to change the wiring method or twist the output lead connector without authorization. All operations must be carried out by professionals in accordance with explosion-proof specifications.
5、 Regular maintenance and calibration
To ensure measurement accuracy, it is necessary to calibrate the flowmeter regularly. It is recommended to calibrate it every time1-2Perform full parameter calibration once a year. The calibration content includes core parameters such as the geometric dimensions of the vortex generator, temperature, and linearity of the pressure sensor. During daily maintenance, it is necessary to check the battery level and replace low battery cells in a timely manner; Clean the dust on the meter head to ensure that the display screen is clear and readable. If the flowmeter needs to be disassembled for offline calibration, the same specification core components must be used, and it is strictly prohibited to exchange different batches of vortex generators or guide fluids.
