I. Overview
The new generation of intelligent heavy hammer level gauges is particularly suitable for demanding measurement scenarios where other level gauges cannot function due to dust, steam, temperature, and other factors. Especially suitable for various silos in cement plants and powder and ash silos in power plants in harsh environments.
Widely used in cement plants, power plants, mines, metallurgy, and petrochemical industries, it can measure solid and liquid levels, especially suitable for measuring powder silo levels and bulk material levels.
The controller adopts advanced technology to perform multi parameter operation control on the measurement process. Effectively avoid the influence of various interference factors on the measurement process.
The special electromechanical structure design of the probe and the proprietary program design that matches it overcome the blockage of the level gauge caused by hydraulic substances (such as cement, coal powder, clay) and other environmental factors, as well as the freezing blockage of the level gauge that is prone to occur in northern regions, greatly improving the reliability of the product.
2、 Measurement principle
The measurement begins, and the sensor (probe) on site controls the heavy hammer to quickly descend to the surface of the material. As soon as the measuring hammer touches the surface of the material being measured, it immediately rises and returns to the position to be measured. The encoder inside the sensor emits a pulse signal equivalent to the displacement of the heavy hammer, which is calculated and processed by an embedded computer. The position or relative position of the material surface is displayed on the controller panel, and a 4-20mA standard instrument signal corresponding to the material level is output. Until the start of the next cycle, the entire process is initiated by a manual button or timed by an embedded computer. This measurement system is particularly suitable for other level gauges that cannot work due to the influence of dust, steam, temperature, etc., and for demanding measurement situations.
