Sharing tips on using Quanli weighing sensors
Date: 2023-10-17Read: 12

Weighing sensors are generally used to accurately measure gross weight and are an integral part of our daily lives. It can often be seen, such as at bank counters in shopping malls or on highways. Of course, you usually cannot immediately notice them because they are usually hidden in machinery and equipment. Structure and Effect of Weighing Sensor
The weighing sensor is composed of an elastic body containing strain gauges. Elastic bodies are generally made of steel or aluminum, which are very strong and have very little elastic deformation. As the proprietary term "elastomer" suggests, steel or aluminum undergoes a certain amount of deformation under load, but then returns to its original position and responds to each load with ductility. This small change can be obtained based on strain gauges. The deformation of strain gauges is expressed by instruments to clarify the gross weight. To grasp one point, it is necessary to describe strain gauges in more detail: they are electrical conductors that firmly adhere to the substrate by winding and bending. When the substrate is driven, it and the electrical conductor will elongate together. When it shrinks, it will shorten. This will cause a change in the resistor formation in the electrical conductor. The strain gauge is firmly fixed to the elastic body, so it undergoes the same deformation. For weighing sensors, this strain gauge is arranged in a Wheatstone bridge. This represents four strain gauges connected to form a bridge, and the direction of the accurately measured force is aligned with the two ends corresponding to the accurately measured grid wire. Assuming an object is placed on a weighing sensor or suspended on it, the gross weight of the object can be determined. The estimated load of the weighing sensor always follows the direction of the center of the earth, that is, the direction of gravity. That is to say, only the force in the direction of the load's gravity can be obtained. However, force sensors are not like this, despite similar design schemes. A force sensor can obtain loads occurring in all directions. It is unrelated to the orientation and installation method of gravity.
Tips for using weighing sensors: In various weighing instruments and quality inspection systems, integration errors are generally used to improve the accuracy of integrated control sensors. The integration error band is connected to the error band of the weighing instrument equipment to select the weighing sensor that corresponds to the sensor. The weighing display has a certain degree of accuracy. According to laws and regulations, the Organization of Metrology (OIML) requires that the error band δ of sensors account for 70% of the error band Δ of weighing instruments and equipment. The total number of errors caused by linear errors, eddy current loss errors, and temperature sensitivity damage within a specific temperature range of the weighing sensor cannot exceed the error band δ.
After booting up, the monitor only indicates the string array "8" and flashes continuously. Assuming this common malfunction occurs, please first check if the weighing pan is properly placed. Next, check if there are any moving objects in the reconstructed part of the magnetic induction scale, and then check if the imitation switch field-effect transistor is damaged. There are several reasons why mechanical equipment is too outdated: the characteristics of the resistor strain gauge itself are not very good; The raw materials and geometric shapes of the elastomer are not very good; The adhesive has already become moldy, and the strain gauge cannot adhere very well to the elastomer. Assuming this common fault occurs, please first check the switch power supply. Assuming that the switch power supply is functioning properly, please inspect and test the amplifier circuit to see if there is a weighing data signal input in the amplifier circuit.
