Oxygen pressure reducers are generally pressure reducing devices for bottled gases. Ensure that the outlet pressure remains stable when there are changes in the inlet pressure and outlet flow rate. An increase in the reading of the low pressure gauge may indicate potential dangers and hazards.
Installation requirements for oxygen pressure reducer:
1) The threaded part of the intake joint of the pressure reducer must be sealed with thread sealant and copper gasket
2) The outlet joint of the pressure reducer is sealed with an O-ring, and the outlet joint is connected to the low-pressure solenoid valve, and the outlet joint of the low-pressure solenoid valve is connected to the solenoid valve
Conical thread connection, thread sealant must be used during installation.
Follow the content of the high-pressure booster valve for CNG vehicles above.
3) The oxygen pressure reducer is connected to the engine's cooling water circulation system through two water pipes. When installing the water pipes, please tighten the ring clamp to prevent water leakage.
4) The oxygen pressure regulator must be connected to the intake pipe through a pressure feedback pipe in order to control the outlet pressure of the regulator according to the operating conditions.
5) The pressure regulator should be installed near the engine intake pipe and in a location with less vibration, but should not be directly installed on the engine. So reducing pressure regulation
The regulator must be installed on the main beam of the car (chassis). When designing the bracket for the pressure regulator, it should be noted that the installation position of the pressure regulator should not be higher than the engine
Top of the engine radiator. Otherwise, it will cause the heated water to not flow through the pressure regulator, resulting in the regulator freezing and cracking.
Precautions for using oxygen pressure reducer
1. Before installing the pressure regulator, it is necessary to slightly open the valve of the gas cylinder to blow down dirt to prevent dust and moisture from entering the regulator before installing it. When opening the gas cylinder valve, the operator should not stand in front of the valve outlet to prevent high-pressure gas from suddenly rushing out and injuring people.
2. The pressure regulator screw should be loosened before opening the gas cylinder valve. When opening the gas cylinder valve, it should be done slowly without excessive force to prevent damage to the pressure regulator and high-pressure gauge caused by high-pressure gas.
3. After opening the gas cylinder valve, check whether there is any leakage in various parts and whether the pressure gauge is working properly. After the inspection is completed, connect the hose.
4. When adjusting the working pressure, the pressure regulating screw should be slowly rotated to prevent high-pressure gas from damaging the diaphragm or the low-pressure gauge.
5. The pressure reducer must not be contaminated with grease. If there is grease, it must be wiped clean before use.
6. If the pressure regulator freezes during use, it should be thawed with hot water or steam and not baked with fire.
7. When stopping work, the bottle valve should be closed and the gas in the pressure reducer should be slowly released, and the pressure regulating spring should be in a free state.
8. The pressure regulator must be checked regularly, and the pressure gauge must be calibrated regularly to ensure reliable pressure regulation and accurate readings.
9. Oxygen pressure reducers and acetylene pressure reducers are not interchangeable.
10. The working pressure of acetylene pressure reducer should not exceed 0.1 MPa.
