Thermal signal calibratorIt is a precision instrument, and correct use can ensure the accuracy of calibration results and extend the lifespan of the equipment. The following are the preparation items before use:

(1) Check the equipment status

Appearance inspection: Confirm that the instrument is not damaged, the buttons/interfaces are normal, and the screen display is clear.

Power check: Ensure that the battery is fully charged (or powered by an adapter) to avoid power outages during calibration.

Preheating: The high-precision calibrator needs to be turned on and preheated for 15-30 minutes (refer to the manual) to stabilize the internal reference source.

(2) Environmental requirements

Temperature: The working environment temperature is usually between 0 ℃ and 50 ℃, avoiding extreme high or low temperatures.

Humidity: Relative humidity ≤ 85%, to prevent condensation or moisture in the circuit.

Electromagnetic interference: Keep away from strong magnetic fields, frequency converters, or high-power equipment to avoid signal interference.

(3) Sensors and wiring

Matching signal type:

Thermocouple: Choose the correct division mark (such as K-type, S-type).

Thermistor (RTD): Set the correct wiring system (two-wire, three wire, or four wire).

Secure wiring: Ensure reliable connection between the tested instrument and the calibrator to avoid errors caused by poor contact.

Polarity confirmation: Current/voltage signals need to distinguish between positive and negative poles, and thermocouples should pay attention to compensating for wire polarity.
