Provided in a highly sturdy titanium alloy casing. The sonar may also not provide pitch and roll. Other OEM configuration requirements can be provided upon request.
ISS360HD has a wide operational acoustic bandwidth capability; By utilizing CHIRP (Compressed High Intensity Leida Pulse) technology, fully utilizing 600 to 900kHz, a resolution of 2.5mm can be provided when using the entire bandwidth. Narrow sound beams, combined with very short range resolution, can obtain high-definition images. Although designed to provide large imaging results, the sonar's external dimensions have remained compact, to the point where the company claims it can even be used for the smallest observation ROV.
The ISS360HD also benefits from an inductively coupled transducer. This means that there are no slip rings inside the sonar, so no components will wear out and need to be replaced regularly.
