Tunnel ultrasonic anemometer: the core monitoring guarantee for tunnel safety
Date: 2025-12-22Read: 9

【 BK-WQX5 】 Shandong Boke Instrument is customer-centric, service-oriented, and driven by innovation.

As a closed or semi closed traffic scenario, the ventilation safety of tunnels is closely related to the wind field environment. Tunnel ultrasonic anemometers, with their accurate wind field monitoring capabilities, have become the core equipment to ensure the safety of tunnel operations. Their performance directly affects the regulation of ventilation systems and the effectiveness of emergency response.

The special nature of tunnel environment imposes strict requirements on equipment, and high-quality tunnel ultrasonic anemometers need to have strong anti-interference and durability. Due to the airflow disturbance, dust accumulation, and high humidity caused by the passage of vehicles in the tunnel, the equipment needs to adopt multi probe collaborative measurement technology to effectively filter out interference and ensure data reliability; The shell should have good dustproof and waterproof performance, with a protection level of not less than IP67, able to resist high humidity and dust erosion, and adapt to temperature fluctuations inside the tunnel.

In terms of core functions, the device needs to achieve high-precision, real-time monitoring and automatic warning. During normal operation, it is necessary to accurately capture low wind speed changes above 0.1m/s to provide a basis for fine control of the ventilation system and optimize the efficiency of fan operation; In the event of an emergency such as a fire, it is necessary to quickly respond to changes in wind direction, providing key data for determining the direction of smoke spread and developing evacuation routes for personnel. At the same time, the equipment needs to support real-time data transmission to the monitoring center to ensure that management personnel can timely grasp the dynamics of the wind farm.

In terms of installation layout, it is necessary to set up monitoring networks at key locations such as tunnel entrances, exits, middle sections, and near ventilation rooms. The installation height should avoid the direct impact area of vehicle airflow, ensure that the probe is unobstructed, and avoid the influence of tunnel walls, lighting facilities, etc. on measurement accuracy. Regular cleaning of sensors, inspection of cable connections, and calibration are key to ensuring long-term stable operation of equipment.
