Internal pressure resistance is a measure of the ability of a glass container to withstand internal pressure (such as hydraulic pressure).
This method is used for measuring the internal pressure of glass containers, and the measurement methods are divided into two types: constant pressure method and constant speed pressurization method
The first method is constant pressure method
The test sample for the determination method should be a product that has not undergone other performance tests (such as mechanical, thermal, etc.), and should be left at pen temperature for 30 minutes. Water with a temperature difference of no more than 5 ℃ from room temperature should be used as the test medium to avoid introducing additional pressure before the test. Choose one of the following experimental steps based on the type of experiment.
Passing test: After the pressure inside the test sample reaches the predetermined value according to the specified requirements and is maintained at a constant pressure for 60-2 seconds, observe whether the test sample ruptures or is maintained for different durations, but the equipment should be able to calibrate the pressure value and obtain a test result equivalent to a constant pressure of 60 seconds
Incremental test: Following the pass test, increase the pressure by increments of 0.1 MFa and 0.2 MPa until the test sample reaches a 50% or 100% breakthrough rate, respectively
The results indicate
Passing test: The pressure and number of container ruptures used in the test increase. Passing test: The pressure at which the rupture occurs and the number of test samples that rupture at this pressure: The pressure required to reach a predetermined percentage, expressed as close to 0.01 MPa; Average rupture pressure and standard deviation
The second method is constant speed boosting method
The requirements for the determination method are the same as those for the first method. Choose one of the following experimental steps based on the type of experiment
Passing test: Increase the test pressure at a rate of 0.58MPa/s-0.10MPa/s until the predetermined pressure value (P is the actual force value corresponding to the household) is reached, and observe whether the test sample ruptures.
Destructive test: Increase the test pressure at a rate of 0.58MPa/s ± 0.10MPa/s until the container ruptures.
The results indicate
Passing test: The pressure and number of container ruptures used in the test. Destructive test: the 60 second pressure at which rupture occurs and the number of test samples that rupture at this pressure; 60 seconds of pressure required to reach the predetermined percentage of test sample, expressed as approximately 0.01MPa: average rupture pressure and standard deviation
Paratronix TechnologyGPT-01 Fully Automatic Glass Bottle Resistance Internal Pressure Testing MachineIt is designed and produced according to the method B (i.e. linear pressurization method) of ASTM C147-76 (revised in 1981), which complies with GB/T 4546-2008 "Test Method for Resistance to Internal Pressure of Glass Containers", national standard YBB00172003-2015 "Determination of Resistance to Internal Pressure of Glass Containers", 2025 edition of Chinese Pharmacopoeia 4017 "Determination of Resistance to Internal Pressure of Glass Containers", and ISO/CD7458 "Test Method for Resistance to Internal Pressure of Glass Containers" international standard. Mainly used for internal pressure testing of glass beer bottles, soda bottles, cola bottles, and glass infusion bottles.
