Widely applicable to industries such as hardware, electroplating, electronics, chemical, automotive, aviation, aerospace, and communication, conducting corrosion tests on product materials and coatings in simulated marine environments to analyze and evaluate the performance of test specimens under specific environmental conditions.

Please read this manual carefully before operating this machine.

2、 Preparation work

2-1 Equipment Placement

a)When installing the equipment, pay attention to adjusting the height of each foot to keep the equipment level. The installation location should pay attention to the necessary space for equipment operation, maintenance, and repair. Try to install it near the window as much as possible to facilitate the salt spray testing machine for mist removal and other purposes.

b)The installation position of the machine should avoid direct sunlight to avoid affecting the testing conditions.

c)The installation position of the machine should be kept away from other electrical equipment as much as possible、Precision instruments or flammable materials to avoidoccurdanger

d)Keep the surrounding environment clean and tidy.

2-2 Preparation of gas and water sources

Øgas source

Prepare a power forAn air compressor with a capacity of 2.2KW (3HP) or above, connected to an 8mm diameter air pipe, and inserted into the quick connector of the pressure regulating valve on the back of the salt spray machine. And observe the pressure of the back pressure regulating valve to ensure that the pressure is at 2kg/cm²If conditions permit, please connect an external oil-water separator to ensure the purity of the gas source.

Spray pressure maintained at1kg/cm²(Inner circle reading of pressure gauge), which is the pressure of the front pressure regulating valve（The pressure must be displayed in the spray state）The pressure gauge is shown in the figure:

Øwater source

Prepare sufficient pure water or distilled water. The salt spray testing room, pressure tank, saltwater chamber, and sealed water tank of this machine all require water addition. Pure water is added to the testing room, pressure tank, and sealed water tank. Only the saltwater chamber of the entire salt spray testing machine needs to be filled with the prepared saltwater test solution.

ØInstallation of fog exhaust pipe

The mist exhaust pipe of the salt spray machine is a very important part. Please make sure to connect the mist exhaust pipe equipped by our company to the outside, or prepare a suitable mist exhaust pipe (non-metallic material) by yourself. The diameter of the mist exhaust port is50mm， During installation, parallel or downward installation is required. Do not coil or install upwards, as this may result in the inability to eliminate salt spray and affect the test results.
