The domestic sewage treatment plant located under the jurisdiction of a county in Hubei Province does not directly discharge the treated domestic sewage into the surrounding rivers. Instead, it undergoes four levels of ecological treatment before entering the next level of treatment. After multiple levels of ecological treatment, it finally flows into the Yangtze River. According to local requirements, automatic water quality monitoring stations will be installed at each level of ecological treatment points to test the water quality at all levels.

The station building was installed in May 2021 and officially put into operation in June. It is currently running well, continuously monitoring the water quality of the river in real time, providing good monitoring and early warning for the safety of surface water and drinking water in Hubei Province.
