Integrated temperature transmitter - calibration and precautions
Date: 2016-11-10Read: 10

Integrated temperature transmitterIt is the combination of temperature sensors and transmitters to achieve temperature measurement and control. Integrated temperature transmitter is an updated product for temperature measurement and control in modern industrial sites and research institutes. It is a product of distributed systems and digital bus systems. Integrated temperature transmitters are divided into resistance type and thermocouple type, which are temperature signal transmission conversion instruments that convert resistance signals and millivolt signals into 4-20mA signals. After long-term online use, signal deviation is inevitable. Therefore, the precautions before using the integrated temperature transmitter are as follows:

1Integrated temperature transmitterThe installation environment must be within -20-+70 ℃. When the ambient temperature is too high, the SBWZ/R signal converter and display module can be installed separately from the thermistor or thermocouple. Our company is equipped with explosion-proof boxes for separate installation of transmitters.

2. When used in explosive hazardous areas, please pay attention to explosion-proof signs and protection levels;

3. Before powering on, please carefully check the positive and negative polarity of the power supply. Do not connect it incorrectly, otherwise it may cause unknown consequences.

4. The temperature transmitter needs to be calibrated after six months of use.

Integrated temperature transmitterThe tuning is as follows:

1. Pay attention to polarity when wiring, and start tuning after preheating for 15 minutes when powered on.

2. During calibration, input signals at a slow speed to ensure no overshoot occurs.

3. Do not apply too much force when adjusting the potentiometer to avoid twisting it.

4. Before calibration, prepare a calibration record sheet and check the temperature/millivolt comparison table or thermal resistance temperature/resistance comparison table of the thermocouple at each calibration point. Retrieve the required data and fill it into the previously prepared data record sheet.
