Media compatibility: Confirm that the chemical properties of the liquid are compatible with the material of the flowmeter (housing, gears, seals).
Viscosity range: Provide the normal working viscosity of the liquid to ensure correct selection.
Temperature and pressure: Ensure that the rated temperature and pressure of the flowmeter meet the operating requirements.
Filter: A suitable mesh filter must be installed upstream of the flowmeter and regularly cleaned.
Avoid cavitation: Ensure sufficient inlet pressure (NPSH) to prevent liquid vaporization.
Correct flow direction: During installation, make sure that the fluid flow direction is consistent with the arrow direction on the flowmeter housing.
Reduce stress: Pipeline installation should avoid applying mechanical stress to the flowmeter body.
